Those snakes need to check for the closing doors or they will get their head cut of. Haha! I like the mechanic for ending up each level, first few levels were hard to understand why my body was left on the other side though.

Really cool twist on the classic snake concept - I liked this a lot!

a snake variation fits the theme super well. snake is basically the mother of "the more you have the harder it is".. cant believe i didnt think of this. Great job by making a puzzle game of it! The mechanic to get to the next level is clever! i had no problems understanding all the mechanics. The game is a bit to easy.

Hey frozencow, nice and sweet concept, which really fits the theme! :)

I think it would be much more immersive if the snake's body was properly drawn. I liked the camera transitions, and, as always, I really missed sound effects! The levels themselves didn't feel very hard, maybe some more challenging ones would have been nice.

Oh, and are you aware of the game "Snakebird"?

Fun little concept and well executed. I think it'd make more sense to fit the entire level on the screen at once, since I was surprised on a couple occasions by an element of the puzzle that was off-screen. And maybe an undo button or an auto-moving snake might have added a bit but under the time constraint you've done enough. Nice work.

Well done! It is very nice to have small levels which you can restart easily, so you won't have to redo a large part of the game when you make a mistake. The concept is very clever, it would be nice if the game was a little longer :)

Good job!

Of-course! A "classic" snake-eats-apples-and-grows-game is a perfect fit for the theme! Why didn't I think of that? :) Really nice puzzle game, I liked it!

@blinry We meet again! Thanks for trying my game. Yes, I was fiddling with properly drawing smooth lines in Unity, but gave up and went with segments. Lessons learned. Sounds are always a last priority for me I guess, hadn't time planned for it :(. Maybe next time.

Yes! A friend of mine was also reminded of Snakebird. I know the game, but haven't played it. Maybe I should. Thanks for the reminder :D

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments! The game indeed is a bit on the easy side and quite short. I haven't taken the full weekend for this game, but I like that it's a somewhat finished package despite of that. I again learned quite a bit about Unity's 2D features too: lessons for future entries.

It is good puzzle game, i like it! After third door the camera moves a little sharply and i want more chalanging levels. Anyway the concept is really good!

I love the puzzle game spin on a classic. I really enjoyed playing it and am upset that it had to be over! :(

Ooooh, I was just expecting regular Snake, but this was a nice, puzzling twist! I always have respect for puzzle designers, so kudos to you! The tutorial was taught rather well, though the puzzles weren't too difficult... Given time, I'm sure you can think of better puzzles, maybe new mechanics as well! All in all, a good job!

a bit glitchy but still pretty fun i did notice it told you to use wasd but the arrow keys were less buggy. it was a pretty cool twist on the classic snake game so overall good job
