Story

Your goal is to lead your gladiator onto the path of glory !

To do so, you shall defeat the other gladiators with as much style as possible. The best way to do that is by dodging their blades at the very last moment, giving your public a thrill! Indeed, this will entice your fellow spectators to throw away money at you... That you can then use to improve you skills in between combats.

No retirement for the braves! Your thrive when bathed in the blood of these filthy opponents calling themselves gladiators. Pigs! That's all they are!

Your life is your only currency in this world, where your spectators have literally the power to end your life or postpone your death. Keep them entertained!

I think my favorite thing about this game are the little details, like the individually named pig gladiators.

I like the idea of winning favor from the audience in the arena! Although I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing to earn that money...

The models and the sounds were all on point, though! I love the little animations for the player character and pig enemies. :)

The control is goo but the left mouse button didn"t always worked. The feel, the animations are good. The art too. It was fun to play but a little be repetitive.

A bit clunky, but I liked it. Also I enjoyed the Latin names for the gladiators (even though they look more like samurais :joy:)
good job

Nice game !
Stamina regen to low I pass most of the time running in circle to wait my stamina regen.
I'm wondering what it will be without stamina, I think it could be more aggressive and tricky especially if you add range attack enemies.

Great Game, Pretty difficult and attacks don't seem to register sometimes.

I love the samurai characters and the graphics !
But I think that the cooldown for the stamina could be shorter ( I runned in circle a long time during the game )
Nice game and good job ! :ok_hand:

Naming the enemies actually turned out to be helpful. Fun game.

Very nicely done! I love the fighting mechanic to force close combat, avoiding the easy/dodge/win strategies.. making it a lot more challenging to do better and advance. Great take on the theme! The gameplay, mechanics, and models were all well done - excellent core structure in place!

I really liked the animations!
The only thing is thatt the beginning I didn't read the description close enough to read the thing about getting money for "dodging in the last moment" and my first playthrough lasted too long because I didn't have enough money and I just played very safe.

Neat game! I got really engrossed in it. I love the models, I'm a fan of the clean flat color 3D style. The animations are good too! I like the limited animation style you did, it fits well with the minimal models. The combat is simple but effective, although I would recommend balancing the stamina so that combat in early waves doesn't feel like a chore. The enemy hitboxes could also be bigger I think, sometimes I would be right in the face of an enemy but it wouldn't hit because my sword didn't directly make contact with them. I think that would make combat less frustrating without taking out the challenge of it. I really like the sound, it fits very well, there's a lot of feedback and it's not tiring. Sometimes, when there were a lot of enemy bodies of the floor, the character would get stuck as it would run around, which felt a bit off and broke immersion a bit. I really like the take on the theme, it's very creative. :) Good job!
EDIT: Also, forgot to mention that I love the little detail of the enemy names. It adds a lot of personality to what would otherwise be a horde of copy-paste pigs. That's very nice.

The controls are very clunky and a bit more feedback for player actions would have been nice (e.g. better sound for hits and getting hit). It's also not transparent, at which point you can attack/dodge. Both seem to cost stamina, but no idea how much. So you're pretty much left with standing around until your bar is full again.

Other than that I had fun with your game and it's not far off Bloodborne's fighting system.

Edit: I just noticed that the stamina upgrade price is wrong. It says 70 but only costs 1.
