First ludum dare! :)

Straight'em Up is a try to merge shoot'em up and poker. You control a "shuffle machine" and your objective is to "shoot" two cards at a time, and try to build the best hands to earn points.

Controls: - Arrow keys left and right to move - Up key to "shoot"

Tools: - Git + Github - Vim - Löve2D + Lua - Inkscape - Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) - done in ~ 18 hours

Known bugs: - The calculation of combinations is not 100% correct. So it can happen of you build a "full house", and the game interpret it as a "three of a kind"

Obs: I'm releasing only the .love file, so you will need the Löve2D framework installed to play
