When people die, you can’t interact with them no more. You can remember them OK, but that’s it.

That’s what this nogame is about.

It’s a nogame about losing people. About missing people. About you missing people.

Every 5 days, one out of the 5 NPCs in this nogame will die. Yes. Die. Forever. Like, hum, actually dying.

An empty room means that someone died there. Someone you could’ve met if you’d played this game just a few days earlier.

Really interesting idea. A little slow but I thing that is what you were aiming at. Excel·lent mood, excel·lent music, superb visual style.

Very cool. I've been pondering impermanence myself lately (perhaps the inspiration my own LDJam nogame this time, but in a more abstract way). I'll have to come back and check again tomorrow to see who has passed away (glad I played on Day 1).

I love the overall experience and how the little factors like the art style and music contribute.

Interesting concept , that's somehow a weird and a little bit sad experiment. Music fits well, pixel art is really nice looking and well executed. I wish there was a little bit more interaction, and speed (The player's moves are a bit slow, but I understand it's part of the atmosphere.). I choose the wrong pills but could'nt go back :o I almost felt guilty :] Hope you're doin well as it's a little bit depressing experience, but that fits the theme...

As usual, your entries are really something else.

With the first NPC, I choose the wrong pills (I actually didn't even notice there was a correct one in the sheet), and when I notice it I feel bad (kind of like his imminent death was my fault).

When the screen fades to white, I read the description and got confused by the fact that all my NPCs were alive the whole time. Then I understand that "Every 5 days" refers to actual real-life time. This little detail makes your game something truly unique in some way.

Wow, the real time idea is so cool and gives so much emotional weight to the game. The art and music were wonderful. I'm definitely going to keep thinking about this game.

Wow - powerful stuff. Graphics & music are excellent, really evocative & help drive the point home. At first I didn't realize the description meant real-world time, now I feel bad about putting off playing this game ;_;

Some small technical issues - I didn't realize you had to hold down the key to move at the beginning, so at first I thought the game didn't have focus or something was wrong. (some small movement on a single key press would help make this clearer) Also, I didn't figure out that you were supposed to remember & select the correct medication until I got to the selection screen, so some sort of warning for that or ability to go back to their chart might be good. (as if it even matters!)

Despite any issues this was really great, one of the most affecting & emotional LD entries I've seen. Amazing work.

A nice game. The NPCs are cute, and it's so touching to read their lines. I'd also like to tell that I liked the way the controls were introduced.

Like a couple of people here, the first time I had to give a pill to an NPC, I couldn't remember which one would work here. It would be great if there was an opportunity to go back to the clinical report (maybe, there is such an option, but I failed to do it).

But what is August 25th? Will they all die then?? I hope not.
