Do you look at our current president and think "That's easy, even I can do that!". Do you think you can make better decisions than Donald Trump? Welcome to Trump Card, where you are Mr. President.

Note: the journey might contain shocking imagery. All choices in the game solely exist for comedic reasons and not with the intention to hurt anybody.

Run the game

Windows

Go to the releases page and click the latest release. Download the Windows-binary and you're good to go!

Linux

Go to the releases page and click the latest release. Grab the latest Linux-version. After extracting this ZIP-file, make sure that you execute chmod +x runner in the extracted directory. After that you can run the game by executing ./runner in the terminal.

How to Play

Each turn you get one to three dialogue options you can choose from. Each choice influences your money, power and popularity. Your task is to balance these three meters throughout the game.

First I lost the election, so I did a do-over and won, and somehow I managed to make it to the end. TIL: I'm probably as bad at golf as the real DJT. I lost at THAT both times.

Kudos to you for making a political title; I have to say you took it and actually made something pretty solid. I tried to make a memey Trump game last LD and it didn't turn out nearly as well as this. Nice work! :thumbsup:

Neat little musical score. Kudos on a different approach to many of the creations this time around (that I've seen). Nice and clear layout, fun sounds. You had tons of options in the pop-up events and I'm sure for replay-ability you'd want to add tons more.

It was good to see a political game that was good natured. I loved the golf with Putin, particularly having to get into my golf cart to drive just a few feet between strokes. The music was spot on and added greatly to the mood. Also, Kinder Eggs. Says it all!

This game is genius, I enjoyed it very much. I like how he always walks back to his golf cart even though it would be faster to walk. And of course I was a great president and won bigly.

This was very amusing. There was a wide variety of events, so it very felt dull. Sadly, I was invaded by "Vaddy" in the end.

I've finished the game with (almost) full power and 4/?? popularity and a lot money... The humor, music, and graphics are really good. It was really fun to play :)

Amazing, i really loved it. Played the game twice, because i lost the election the first time, and the variation between the sessions was good. Good humor, good graphics, good sound, and fun :)

Fun parody! The amount of small details in the game, from the perfectly timed soundbites, to the sprinkling of special events (and even a golfing-minigame!), is especially impressive. The humor is good-natured, which is rare to see in political parody. And the interplay between the three resource types worked well, and usually followed logically from the choices. The graphic, music and sounds worked perfectly, great mood!

All in all, an entertaining game!

Really well done game, especially as for political one. Just choosing options and looking for new paths was suprisingly fun. Great entry.
