We chose to create a 2D platformer, but instead of what the first picture suggest, you play it from a first person perspective ... more like this:

The game contain 10 levels, and take 10 to 40 min to complete, depending on if you are good or not.

Features:

-A lot of signalisation, that allow you to understand what's going on, even if the mix 2D/3D can be confusing at first.

-Many sounds effects and a theme music (that can both be muted, each separatly).

-Effect object, like speed boosts, jump pads, moving plateforms and more.

-Growing difficulty curve that start to really raise at level 3.

Will you beat the nuclear entity ?

Controls:

-Forward and backward are [Z] and [S] or [W] and [S] (depending on your keyboard)

-Turning back your character is achieved by pressing [X] or sliding suddenly the mouse lateraly.

-Jumping is of course the [SPACE BAR] but important enought, the longer you press the key, the harder you jump, it's an important mecanic along the game.

-Pressing R anytime restart the level, usualy unnecessary, but use it if you want to save time, or if you are stuck.

Known bugs:

-... there is a lot, but globally it's fine if you don't push too far the game.

-The main and most annoying bug that you may encouter is that on some collision you can gain velocity unrelated to your character movement (so you slip on ground until something stop you)

-A lot of micro collision on ground and walls, especially on verctical parts, that brutaly stop you.

-Another big problem is that the hitbox is not coherent with the camera, might be disturbing on some plateforms.

-We found out at the last minute that on chrome browser the web version have no sound.

Disclaimer:

-We are french so there might be some language mistake,

-also we have no graphist so they are quite cheap.

-We found sounds (before our own editing) on a free to use (creative liscense) database.

-The black background is quite ugly.

Done in 3 day during the Game Jam (Ludum Dare 41) with Unity 2017.3.X (and 2017.4.X)
