Cool concept, decent amount of strategy, Too hard though, I got overwhelmed really quickly every playthrough - that said, I played multiple times, and was getting better each time. You have the bones of something really good here.

This is a ton of features for a jam. The gameplay seems pretty deep. The bugs look nice.

I wish I could tell how many resources I have, and that I could select what I want to build by hotkey. Otherwise this seems like quite a polished little strategy game.

Very well done!

wow.. really complex game. Took some time and re-reading the tutorial to figure out how to get souls. Maybe some tool tip above resources can have some info like that (how to get the resource). Game is really hard, but actually fun to play. Nice work!

Nice little strategy game, with some well implemented unit control and selection. Reminds me a little bit of a game I played when I was younger called Micro Life, good job though!

Impressive game for sure. I was using a strategy where you first sacrifice all your bugs until you have used all the crowns for building up your infra. This is before the AI's gets to you. Then just rush to conquer some areas and repeat.

The game fits the theme as you have to sacrifice your bugs for resources.

Soundscape could be improved however. Click sound and bug sounds and neat, but conquering an area plays some windows message sounds or something which is a bit distracting. My ears were also missing some music. Some slight ambient would improve things nicely. For quick jam games I'd recommend using www.audiotool.com. Very fast to get some light music done.

Bug sprites are well done, but background could use some enhancement. It's very repetitive and frankly quite boring. Some variety for the ground sprites would go a long way. Also the circular base areas could use a graphical enhancement. Maybe but the whole playing area under some theme? Have bugs compete for example inside some house and conquer spots like hidey-holes in the floor? Just some quick thoughts..

Overall a fun game for sure. AI is proficient and competitive. I enjoyed the challenge and had fun playing. Good job!

Really good game for a game jam. Could use some better controls (moving around) and maybe zooming ;)

AI is kind of boring at some point and does nothing, but I guess this is quite hard to program decently in such a short time.

This is a very nicely done game, the gameplay is simple yet balanced and fully-fledged. Too bad I don't have middle mouse button :(

That was a lot of fun! The end game was a bit of a grind (although this is real common in RTS games) but the balancing act of sacrificing your units worked really well in the early parts of the game.

Played this game for longer than I expected, nice job. Took a couple tries before I was able to avoid getting immediately wiped out and I didn't seem to be able to move around the map to see/destroy the enemy base (maybe I wasn't supposed to) and it would have been nice to see the readouts of my resources (they weren't showing up) but all in all really well done!

Very solid entry, nice artstyle! As said above, it definitely needs better learning curve and also to be better adjusted for different resolutions (I too couldn't see the resources panel). But still, very solid base!
