The Button Room by Laylow
A quick game (14 hour dev) about living in a room with your button. There's an event at day 4. I wanted to add more things to do to fill in the time (and I should have lowered the number of days before the final day), but for now, there's a small puzzle at day 4 and then the game ends. See below screenshot for desired story and spoilers.

What the story would have been given more time:
You play as an android living in a small room. That room is, and has always been, your entire world. You've been perfectly content with your life of simply pushing a button during the "day". In fact, you enjoy it so much that you lose track of time the more you push your button.
However, strange things start happening. Each day, you notice oddities that hint at something more outside your world and you start reflecting on your life up to point. This culminates in a revelation that just outside your grasp is something more (the door behind the poster), but a sudden, overwhelming urge demands that you suppress that feeling and forces you to turn away and block that escape (pulling the locker in front of the door).
You're left to wonder what would have happened had you been able to walk through that door, but must realize that the door wasn't a part of your story, it was simply a blip, a glitch, in your small, controlled world.
Thanks for playing!

If there was further content you should probably hint at it so I know my effort is not in vain, I tought the sitting sprite was pretty charming :P and the games presentation is very clean which I like, looks like you didn't have much time so I can see why, still props for participating even with so little time.
Great job, anyway, and I hope you don't let this project die now!
What exactly is the meaning of the end? I don't really get it :/
Fun, zany concept. A bit light on substance of course, but hey, you finished it, and it's reasonably fun. :)
And, by the way: what's the shining thing swinging from the ceiling?
I did like the aesthetics of the game - the robot and its interactions would be fun in a more fleshed-out puzzle game. Reminds me of the old "point and click" adventure games somewhat.
Graphically, I liked the simplicity of the presentation. One suggestion would be to make the robot a different color than the background wall so that it doesn't get so lost against the background.
