I can't play the WebGL version, it requires me to donate at least 1 USD to play

This is a really nice game. I enjoyed the story a bit too much, made me play the end sequence more than I originally wanted to. The graphics and music and sounds are all so nice and come together for a great experience. I can only recommend playing this.

Yo, this game was solid, very impressive, no complains really, art, sound, and design very well done. Triggering events by going backwards was a little bit weird sometimes but thats about it!

I was thinking the written was really well done and then I found the 9999999$ key. What a masterpiece hahah. Good job!

Edit: I almost forgot about the old man from the beggining! Made me laugh, it set the tone of the game really fast!

Woah, really nice idea of not going back and a nice metaphor for life (was it meant to be like that?) :)
Music fits well with the consistent art style. Overall, I enjoyed the game!

It's a great game, the beginning set the tone very well and towards the... ¿end? the game feels very fresh and polished. I liked it a lot, good work :)

Really fun game. Only thing I didnt like was the ocassional walk to the other side of the screen to activate the next scene. It felt like it slowed down the pace a little. Other than that really good.

Very entertaining! I love how this examines the gameplay of 2D platformers and the sprites are adorable, especially when jumping and wearing a tophat. The audio is great too and I love the humor!

I liked the social kind of commentary throughout the entire game and I think it was really solid. Really simple mechanics but executed extremely well and had me laugh and cry in frustration many times. really solid game! One of the best I've played so far.

Really cool submission. I really didn't expect the story element. The player really goes through a journey which is really pleasing and keep you engaged.
The game mechanic are simple but enough to keep you going.

Somehow playing it reminded it of the game Passage.

Really well done.

I really loved the platforming where you couldn't fix your mistakes. It really felt like the choices you made mattered. Excellent game and super fun!

That's a well executed narrative game ! As it's been said the effort on storytelling and writting is worthy and sets a great mood. Even if gameplay is not so challenging this really pushed me to persevere the *hard* part to reach the end. I loved the humor as well in texts and in-game. Good job on chiptune music, quite diversified and sounding real good.
Visuals are simple but efficients, I especially liked the different NPC and player's sprites. I've read in comments that... there is a 9999999$ key ? :) I didn't have the patience to end it twice finding secrets but I tried some while playing it and I was wondering, so that's a great thing :) Good job !
Cheers !

- This music.. holy.. so well done.
- Not much to see mechanic-wise but it feels well-made.
- The graphics are minimalistic but good.

I couldn't finish it but I had fun for as much as I played :)

definitely the funnest game I've played this jam; great story, great music, great use of mechanics. My only gripe is the platforming is a little clunky, typically in platformers if you walk off an edge right as you hit jump, there's a little lee-way time where you can still jump even if you're in the air, otherwise it feels like you pressed jump and your character didn't jump, just fell off the edge. I feel like this would make the end platforming sequence a lot smoother, I died in quite a few spots because of that.
Otherwise, great game!

There I am just jumping around like a dummy trying to get over the barrier, then boom, an old man asks me what the hell I'm doing :p He added a lot of humor to the game. Art is cute, the game reminded me of Knytt a little bit world/mood wise.

An indicator for exp/levelling up would've been cool (didn't see one on web. I got a level up once from collecting cash, but wasn't able to again, idk if I just didn't get enough exp or one level up from cash collecting was the max).

Loved the village area with the mounds of money and people who apparently live in a society. Did that dude selling the hat for $211 subtract 1 from my balance to define a price? Smart man. I'm lookin' spiffy now, what a bargain.

I liked figuring out what to do by just bouncing around. xD It was kinda cool. xD dropping off ledges was really hard and annoying. Other than that pretty nice entry.
