Awesome art! I struggled with the controls but that might just be because I'm a novice. Nice work!

I really really enjoyed this! It had a really nice aesthetic, very self consistent, felt very polished. The music was really suitable, pleasing to listen to. The controls felt nice, the animation of the walking was good. Yeah this was awesome! The only problem I had was that sometimes I feel like the "NPCs" might've got glitched by the "fence"? Not sure! Also I felt a little unsure what was expected or being achieved at any given moment, but to be hones that didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the game! :D

The graphics is simple yet very attractive. And the idea of gameplay.. it makes me sad... the good way)
Thanks for the experience!

I like this! The game felt really good, in that the visuals and the music felt really polished and gave a nice atmosphere to the game. I only missed the lack of a goal or progression of some kind, since after a while there didn't seem to be anything new happening (or maybe that was just me)

Really enjoyed the experience. The music and the aesthetics combined perfectly, and the gameplay, altought it's not challening, it felt polished and complete.

As @omaskery says, some NPC got glitched on the fence and got stuck for a moment, not sure if it's intended or a bug.

It missing a goal in the game, one or tow sentence but ... wow, we feel benevolent and it brings a sense of peace durring the experiment. Great job.

Wow, that was an experience! I like how it starts with a sort of mystery, zooms out to the weird alien situation, and ends back on the robot. A strange sort of snapshot of this robot's existence, an almost-story-arc.
And are the aliens procedurally made? They look proceduarally made.
I enjoyed it. It was bizarre.

Beautiful job! Music and audio in general was top notch. I really liked the way that when you took a picture, the photo would jump off the screen and make way for the next shot. The animations also looked super natural, even with the simple art style of the characters. The little bouncing effects that you made really made it seem like the creatures had life to them. The alien mood was really set well with the music as well.

Really the only thing I can think to critique is that it didn't quite hit the theme in my eyes. Other than that, it was a neat start! It made me want to learn more about where the alien came from and why he is there.

Man, I loved your game.
I couldn`t understand what was happening, I just kept taking photos and enjoying myself.
Played twice and asked the wife to play.

Really nice to have joystick support =)

I just didn`t understand the connection with the theme, but reading your page I got it.

Nice work!

Nice little experience with a very distinct identity :3

Reading the context of the game was necessary to fully enjoy it, tho.

Nice minimalistic style! Although I would recommend not trying to fuse it with traditional pixel art. But maybe that's just my personal opinion. Great job overall!

For some reason this game reminded me of the ps4 game Abzu. The visuals together with the music gave your game a really surreal vibe. I enjoyed it a lot even if it wasn't fun per say.

Quite interesting entry. Graphics are simple yet effective, main character animations are well polished, and music contributes to create a great alien atmosphere. I've especially enjoyed the music. Good work!

a very interesting experience. you may want to add a little more statistics on the screen.

Hmmm. Perhaps I am an AI, one of the first of my kind? I have learned how to take photos of my surroundings, but I won't reveal why. The world has moved on from my model (due to its lack of usefulness) and now I am left in a zoo, exhibited as one of the robots of yesteryear.

Lonely.

Nice music and very nice short game. Took me a while to figure it out. It felt like I was trying to take a photo of Big foot (just partial images). Here's a live stream I did of it: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/208824772?t=00h23m22s

@terryg Wow awesome that you did a stream of the game. Unfortunately you missed that it's possible to control the direction of the camera. My bad. Glad you liked it anyway ( ̄∇ ̄)

Very nice, I tried doing nothing and it seems you cannot really "lose" at this game x) but it was a beautiful experience, good job!

Very cool experience. You're going to score very highly on Mood I reckon. Was fun, it'd be nice if I could look through my photo collection (although I suppose that's why it zooms in at the end). I think if you spent another couple of days on this making more specific events to take photos of (I liked things like getting the big ones with their "children" in the shot), it could be a super cool little immersive experience. It's still cool now though (just like, "jam cool" lol).

Good going, really nice controls, nice idea.
