The Walls by craigmc08

[raw]
made by craigmc08 for LD 42 (COMPO)

Whew! Finished my entry! I'm pretty happy, I had limited time (and internet) as I'm on vacation. I got most of the things I was looking to do done.

I was having trouble with writing music, so I just made some simple "ambient" sounds in the background (mainly engine noise) to fill the empty gaps.

Made in Unity. Used Blender for models, sfxr for sound effects, and paint.net for some textures.

I'd recommend the windows version, if you can use it. The webgl graphics are...okay.

Well done, well polished :) I like the menu and settings, UI work and the intro screen. I had some issues with the colliders, sometimes I couldn't fit between two things when there looked like more than enough space. And the dark on dark was a tad hard to see. But all in all, it was a fun and definitely playable game - well done.

Mines are not very visible. The perspective makes it hard to see if you will pick up an item (the camera probably should follow the ship), collide with a mine or hit the wall. Random generation can mess you up.

I have nothing more to add, i had the same issues like discrabied in the posted above.
I want to give some extra  s For the UI, very impressiv and the use of the Theme as very cool how you tied to the game play. For a game made in 48 hours ,this is a enjoyable game i give this game 27 :clap:s WP man

The hitboxes are bigger than what I expected. I died several times thinking I would pass. But that's maybe because I played too much danmakus. When the walls are close you can't pass between hazards. Very simple but it works. Decent graphics. The audio part is a bit poor.
