Simmer Down by PronomicalArtist
My game is called Simmer Down. It's a mix between a Cooking Sim and Adventure game (maybe some other genres).
Use ARROW KEYS, SPACE, and E to play (Most controls are explained in game).
I used Construct 3 to create this game. So if you want to view the source code you will need Construct 3.

I also really liked the sprite of that blobby monster thing XD
But I see some points improvements points.
By far your level/room is too large, it's annoying to go and back between chest and food many and many times.
It's a bit strange to switch between full keyboard input during the "adventure" time and mouse for cooking,
But at least I am free ^^
The Graphics are great but the game has some lack of challenge.
Everythings seems very polished.
If you get chance give our Jam Mechasnek a go :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mechasnek
- Most people have said this, but the room is too large. There isn't anything wrong with large rooms, per se, but if your room is large with nothing really inside it, then it'll feel tiring to walk back and forth without variety.
- There isnt much "challenge" in it. Maybe you intended on having enemies to make it difficulty, but this would have made the game a lot more interesting
- Similar to above, maybe you intended on having more with it, but a bomb seems like an odd choice. Maybe there's further mechanics to explore with it, but if there isn't other intentions, maybe a knife would have been enough?
This was a great start. Keep pushing forward on it!
Also the blobby dude sprite was very good.
I really appreciate your points and your feedback and will definitely be looking to improve things for the next jam :)
