Hello Ludum folks, this is our little game :)

Hell-a Work is an office simulator game in which you are the boss. Hire employees and accept or deny their requests. Be careful! Your decisions will make your employees happy or sad. If motivation is too low, employees will do crazy things!

Try to make money to have a bigger office!

The more employees you have, the worse it is!

Thank you very much for playing this small game, we hope you had a good time playing it! :D

Wow the level of polish here is fantastic.

The sound effects and music really sat well. Mayde hiring and firing satisfying.

Animations and character models look great.

Only problem I had was I was stuck in a good business at the end with one happy employee making me lots of money. I missed the days of chaos and employees jumping to their doom ;)

Really well done.

The game looks really good.

The first time i saw an employee jump out of the window, it was so unexpected that i couldn't stop laughing LOL.

There were few times where the employees just got stuck near the door when they were trying to leave, just thought i should mention this.

I Also noticed that you can get away with just always pressing yes to everything, you don't really need to think that much.

Overall, i thought the game was funny, but needs some new features.

A pretty neat take on a simple management sim. The art style works well for the content and all round it is enjoyable to play.

The employees do a good job of conveying personality with how you have used speech bubbles and it works well as an interaction mechanic. My only real criticism is that when employees start to wander speech bubbles can overlap and make clicking the thing you intended difficult.

Got to level 6 in 339 days! Nice graphics and and audio! I kept just clicking the green checks and making sure everyone was working. I think it got into a situation towards the end where all the people got stuck at the door trying to leave for vacation all at once.

Very difficult to play even at the start!

Graphics are amazing and audio (while repetitive) fits the mood perfectly which is impressive.

Love the fact that you can kick people out and they just jump off the map haha.

Few bugs here and there such as idling at the door on their way out for a while and sometimes when you should've lost, you don't and you can't progress or lose. Days just stopped at 135 for me

Nice game! Simple graphics, but good. I love it!
I see a little bug (sometimes the employees can't move because they're blocked by others). But it's not a problem to play.

Got stuck on day 79. Went from around -$80 to $300 before I realized that the days had stopped ticking forward.

Other than a few bugs like that, the game is pretty awesome. I like the graphic style, I think it works well with the game. The workers are always surprising me; oops... one of them just jumped out the window.

Wow, great polish on graphics/audio. Saw a small graphical bug where the door doesn't open for the workers to jump out if there are a couple in a row. Seems like at 109 days the days stopped ticking by and I stopped getting new employees etc.
Fun to be able to have a lot of control over what to do with the employees, but it seemed like as long as I did whatever it took to keep them working at their desks, it worked out for the best (even if they gave up and left I can just hire another) ...bit too real haha. Good job!

I loved the overall graphical style and the little details. The humor was the best. When the office expanded was a fun surprise. Fantastic game!

The looks, feel, originality, art, gameplay, sound and everything on this game are completely amazing! I'm super impressed, the screen captures were super promissing but the game really blew all my expectations. I really have nothing else to say apart than this game is awesome and hilarious and that it has a lot of promise in mobile platforms!

Hey, good game overall! So, I tried to make reasonable choices, like, I can't give vacations to a guy that just got in, and then I lose all my money and the company collapses xD. I think some tweaking in values of how much money you lose at all choices and the chance of something go wrong are the key to a this game become perfect. Good luck!

Very cool game :)
The graphics, sounds, and gameplay is spot on, awesome.

Would be great to add more to gameplay/balance - I made to the 3rd level by clicking only "ok" on every request. Maybe it would be cool if sometimes they would have some outrages request that you cannot accept and they are not sad that you didn't. Also, accepting some outrageous requests could make every other office member unhappy - why this guy is earning 3 times as much as I do? :)

Anyways, this is quality game, love it! :)

Really interesting. A fun game that ramps up nicely in difficulty over time.
There wasn't a clear indication of what made you lose, however. Is it just being in the - for a certain period of time?
I got to level 5 in 234 days. Beat me!

Really cool art but very/too hard to became a good manager when all choices are random. I think you should scenarise a bit more the choices by giving personalities to the workers.

Good entry even so.

Cool game, I enjoyed it :) It's addictive !

Sometimes, a "worker" can't go to his desk. He is stuck with a chair, or a someone, but he continue to earn money ! So is not a blocking bug, but they can accumulate in one place.

Anyway, the game is fine and design is great ! GG !

Nice one! It really does get difficult at the end. Is there an end goal? Or just forever going? Got to almost 200 days :( Felt easyu at the start to just ignore any pay raise questions. Guess it's possible to have under control if you have a proper strategy :D

reached 280 days :) the game is so much fun. the art style, SFX, music, animation, and gameplay are awesome. the only problem I faced was to figure out the employee behavior I guess if there was more metric or hint to what should be done since it seems a little bit random and not skill based. but great work, love it <3

Great usage of animations to make the game more liveful and fun to play. Easily forgotten but adds so much to the playfulness.

Fun but some people get stuck next to a table or chair and it feels like the only way to advance and not lose instantly is to agree always and it just feels like an rng after that. Would help if they didn't jump out the window the first time they get a decline. For example if i knew I can decline everybody once and then i had to remember who I need to agree to next time. That would also add depth to the gameplay.
