Awesome! Love the idea and the polish / attention to detail (shattering glass was great). Blowing up enemies felt impactful and fun. One minor point, I wish the camera had followed the ship a little more tightly. I often, especially when descending, couldn't see what was below me until it was too late. But I would play more of this game.

Extremely fun. Killing enemies felt really satisfying and it feels really cool to open the mech menu and have everything slow down. The art is very well done and I especially appreciate the snazzy parallax background. Well done, your talent shows.

The Game is Verry fun, but the controls are not easy to undertand.

Great concept, I loved the music and the feel of the ship movement and weaponry was tight! All round really great! :)

Awesome game. I like the idea and the graphics. I had some problems with the controls, my plane crashed a lot. I guess I need some more training. :)

Really fantastic entry, one of my favourites so far! Everything from the audio, graphics, to the gameplay is incredibly polished and it is a ton of fun to just fly around the city! =D

Great presentation and sound effects, nice mechanics and good gameplay, though it's hard to understand at the beginning.

Great game. The handling is a little tricky, particularly in the tighter area, but awesome combat and mechanics.

This game is really good. I felt like the camera needs a little help if you're just falling since it'll let you sit at the bottom of the screen so you don't have any idea what's coming up. I also could have used a little more contrast between the very dark buildings and the rather dark background. Nitpicks like these are a sign of a really good idea and game, though. I'm super into it.

Really enjoyed this one. Getting that brief moment to slow down and wreck aliens was awesome. Handling of the ship took a bit to get used to, but after the third death or so I got the hang of it. Love everything about this. Great job!

Really cool concept! Art, Sound, and parallax are all done really well :) I would tune fly controls (boost) but that's me being nitpicky haha

Good job :D

The game looks and sounds very beautiful. I found it kind of hard to control the ship and had a hard time hitting the enemies. I really liked all the particle effects and the visuals for the mech mode.

As person who loves mechas and mixes between turn-base and action (Parasite Eve, Megaman Battle Network) this is my favorite game this LD. Awesome job!

A very polished game with high quality visuals and audio. The battle action UI is very slick and stylish. The controls took me a little time to get used to but once I got it down gameplay is very enjoyable. The only little criticism i would have to say is that I think the highlighted action could have been shown a bit clearer (different font colour etc.) as you have to make a choice very fast and sometimes I wasn't quite sure what I had currently selected.

Overall an excellent game.

Just a little comment to say that I'm reading all this!
Future versions will include changes based on everyone feedbacks - especially camera stuff and overall readability (along with an actual finished tileset and hopefully more content, ahah)

Thanks to everyone for their fantastic comments, you're all lovely <3

This game really captures the basic principles of Macross/Robotech, which apparently is a terribly hard thing to do given the poor track record of existing games! Great music and SFX, controls are awesome, pacing takes some time getting used to but it's fantastic. Given the player sprite was expecting a top-down view on the map though, maybe a la Desert Strike. UI is just fantastic. Love the details poured into the title screen too!

Interesting game mechinc reminds me japan shooters. Looks and plays cool.
Game has seroius issues with navigating.
On second wave I can't figure out thet I have to fly INSIDE building because all times I had the expiience of damage by building edges.
On third wave with laser enemies game sometimes teleports me in the unpredictable place. And ALL enemies shoots me with laser.

Good antry, anyway. More polish and into production =)

Challenging game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 41 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NizAskJCoRk

Beautiful game, really fun! I am awful at steering :)
Loved the UI and aiming. Definitely should be played with a controller, wish mouse/keyboard input was easier.
