This is a really good game! It's a really simple concept with really good songs. Good job!

For some reason it runs extremely fast for me :( Like 10x the normal speed or something. It's pretty much unplayable. But thankfully there is a video for me to watch and rate based on it.
EDIT: @themonax yup, enabling the vsync fixed the speeding up of the game :)

The graphics and the audio totally complement each other. Really nice design :D

Love this game! Really cool how moving decreases power and forces a much more strategic approach than just aimlessly moving and shooting.

Really nice idea. I found that the inertia of the spaceship was a little to high but it is really well made. Good job!

This game was really fun to play! I kind of forgot that I should rate others too :D

GJ on fun factor! Graphics looks fun, sound work is great and gameplay feels really smooth.

Also, very nice to see something other than Unity and GameMaker here :)

At first look I thought this was the tipical game. I was wrong, this is so cool. I love the music treatement, nice detail. Kinda hard for me as I'm so bad, but I really enjoyed my plays. Good luck!

This game is awesome! I love it and I will be sharing it with all my friends. The difficulty balance is, in my opinion, perfect; the game is accessible enough that you can jump in and play, but challenging enough that it takes real focus and effort to succeed in it. Every time I died in the game I felt compelled to retry and do better. Managing power and health made me panic a lot, which is something I love to feel in games. I also really like how the music reacts to what's going on in the game, it's a very nice touch.

Overall it's a very solid, very fun game that feels great to play. As someone new to programming and game development I'm starstruck that you were able to create it in 48 hours.

I tried to think of something to improve but I'm at a loss. The game is just so awesome :D

Very difficult I beat it after six tries and with little bit cheat :) I just maxxed speed and slowly avoiding bullets and asteroids. I did it, reach and sun and after that boss kill me :D

Very simple but fun game, I like it. (You know six time replay :) )

Reminds me of asteroids mixed with 1984. Nice to see an objective at the end as well, and nice overlay like it's a game within a game. Well done.

I like it. The music and graphics go together very well and I like how you changing your speed changes how the game is played, and offers different pros and cons for each playstyle.

Fun and addictive game, I wish there were more levels so I could play some more. I liked the boss fight, that's something I didn't really had time for in my game. At first the game was very difficult for me, but when I've played few times and realized the more effective way of playing it became much nicer. My strategy was to get as much speed as comfortable for me (around 3/4 max) and never change it. Batteries give too little power to make any extra maneuvers. Which ties the game to the theme a lot stronger than it may look, because you can't sustain your energy (I couldn't), you have to work with what you have in the beginning.

Possible improvements I've thought about:
* just a little better AI so you can't force enemies into your bullets
* more hp on the large structures (or split them into multiple modules) - they look like you should avoid them but in reality they're just loot crates
* explaining what the fever mode is? :D I still have no idea

Great job overall!

Very exciting! The balance in the game is very cool!

At first I didn't know what to do, but when I just turn on high speed, food don't fly away, and they are enough to fly in the sun! :sunny:
