This game runs on real hardware, if you are strong and cool enough to put it on a flash cart and give it a whirl, we'd love to see pictures!

I absolutely loved the graphics and music; I haven't gotten around to playing many homebrew genesis games thus far. I didn't have a second controller so I kinda just went as long as I could with just the bird. (Which turned out to be pretty long, since the bird can just leave the screen if it wants :))
I don't have a genesis flashcart right now so I can't play on console, but definitely enjoyed seeing this. Thanks for a fun entry!
Just wow
Im wow'ing to creativity of the internet well done.thats why i love jams
Keep it up
Good luck🍀
"Jokes" aside, I think it's awesome that you guys even attempted this. The art is good and there is a decent amount of enemy types/patterns. The thing that really weirded me out was the collision, I think that should be a priority if you guys work on a post-jam version.
Great job.
This is awesome! I love seeing LD games on unique platforms, and seeing stuff made with SGDK is great too. (Maybe I should finally do a real game in it!)
Gameplay is solid and fun, it's a solid shmup with some good enemy/bullet patterns. The music is great too. Desperately needs some sound FX though, the lack of sound made it hard to tell when I got hit, plus the birb hitbox seemed weirdly large or misplaced which was a bit frustrating. I also got some lag when there were a lot of shooting enemies on screen. Still it was pretty fun to play, nice work! :D
