I like your choice of the genre and that you really voiced the characters. I didn't immediately understand what I needed to do, but it was interesting.

@daria-toni There are 3 room when you enter on each of them, you need succeed an enigma to recover an item and put it in the main room :)

Thanks for your feedback :)

I haven't seen this type of game before on ludum dare! It's really interesting and fun. I love creepy atmosphere of the game, it suits perfectly to genre. Good job!

A very cool game! I like how you showed the theme as selling blood for hints!
TasakaSama
29. Apr 2019 · 15:16 UTC
@lubaka Yes at the beginning, we wanted to make an upgrade skill character in exchange blood. but we know that it was too classic and that it was better to make riddles more difficult and to leave the choice to the player to buy clues or not ... because it is possible to do without clue :)

It is the trippiest thing I've played so far on this LD :D

That's a nice creepy atmosphere. I like the voiced characters.

I found myself tripping over stuff on the floor. I wouldn't see it unless I looked down.

@jk-studio Yes it can seem difficult because it is necessary to give the possibility to the players to succeed alone or to ask for clues :) thanks for playing

@pincushion Thank you for trying the game ...
For objects some collisions are hard enough because I must admit that it is only the 3rd time that I used blender so I still have a lot to learn :)

It was a interesting experience thats for sure. I suck at puzzles though, so I couldnt complete it.

Great job with the 3d modeling though, a realistic game is really ambitious. I do think you should put a little less smudges on the wall, the amount you used is rather unrealistic.

@caspercaper17 I miss a lot of skill in 3D and especially I made basic materials, for the next time I must take to use substance painter to make textures of better quality :)

I hate you, i was scared to death. But this was a very good athmosphere.
I don't have the respect to do an 3D Game. Good Job!

29. Apr 2019 · 18:34 UTC
@codesity Yes the timer and the blood loss are there to force to hurry up and to choose if we want clues or not :)

Was very interesting, I did however find myself getting stuck on the chair by the door every time I went through it so I would suggest checking that objects don't cause too much of an obstruction in future projects as it can distract from the game itself. Very good atmosphere when playing this one though. Good effort showing.

Thanks @sahoskins1
The chair blocking after the door is intentional for adding stress to player

creepy! I had trouble seeing the door in the first room on my tablet and almost gave up, but spammed "e" around the room until it opened heh. I like that you included voice audio!

30. Apr 2019 · 06:34 UTC
@neonjeff Yes we talked about it, that it will miss a gamma option because from one screen to another the rendering may be different... thanks for playing

Interesting concept, but I couldn't quite figure out what I have to do. I unlocked one of the doors with blood, but the other doors did not have the option (although they had the flask in front of them). I also could not unlock the safe with the hints from the TV :-(

The opening was quite scary! Thanks for the game!
TasakaSama
30. Apr 2019 · 07:18 UTC
@caranha Each room contains an enigma to solve and as long as it is not solved the following doors can not open ...
caranha
30. Apr 2019 · 07:22 UTC
@tasakasama I see! So you have to solve each room in order! Now it makes sense!

Nice escape room game! It was a little bit too dark for my notebook and i couldn't play it in fullscreen but i really dig the atmosphere!
30. Apr 2019 · 13:53 UTC
I really liked the mood of the game. Sinister and creepy. And I really liked the fact you voice acted your characters. We actually planned on that too, but ran out of time. Big plus for that! The idea of trading health for clues and for progress perfectly fits the theme.

What was weird is that I could not restart my game. It just froze after gameover and didn't react to any button or input except the toggle fullscreen one. And you should probably fix or disable the mouse cursor, so you can turn around 360° and do not have to stop, when your cursor hits the window border :)

30. Apr 2019 · 14:03 UTC
@grllle Thank you for your return,

Regarding luminosity we know that from one configuration to another it can be different. The ideal would have been to add a menu to manage it but as we wanted a webexport we have limited a lot of things...
TasakaSama
30. Apr 2019 · 14:09 UTC
Anonymous For the fact not restarting the game once on the gameover it's my fault. I completely forgot to add a "menu button" or "restart game", I put it on the screen of victory but not the one of defeat.
which is the most important because the game is not easy. ..

But thank you to you for your return :)

Very cool visuals here, nicely done. I like the creepy atmosphere. It wasn't immediately obvious what I needed to do, but I enjoyed the experience. I've made a creepy horror-like game for this LD as well if you want to check it out.

@jharler Yes we test and note in exchange all the people who put a comment here, in addition to some games in the random list...

any case thanks for your feedback...

@jamesolivermusic The voice acting, the fact there is a timer and we always lose blood is also make this atmosphere :) thanks to you for the feedback

This game have a great mood, and a good sound design.
Introduction is very good with the TV, but the end is "very short" (for no spoiled the surprise).
Otherwise the clue on the TV is a very good idea.
I would have appreciated a menu to be able to restart the game but I understand that it is part of the immersion.
Good job you two!

Liked the atmosphere, great concept too. As others said, some collisions were quite annoying, but it's not that a big deal in a jam game. Good work.
TasakaSama
03. May 2019 · 08:30 UTC
@robowarrior1982 It lacks a lot of voices throughout the game and not just intro ...
Regarding the restart game case when conditions of defeat, its mostly a big mistake on my part ...

Thanks for you feedback :)
TasakaSama
03. May 2019 · 08:38 UTC
@gimblll Regarding the collisions when I concept the level my goal was to block the passage slightly so that when the timer scrolls, it add a pressure to the player.

But it lacks playtest which would have allowed me feedback of this during the level design.
it's a mistake that I will not do it again :)

Thank you for taking the time to play.

What's better than an alien that hugs you all the time.
I really like the idea, weird mechanic that makes it more eerie and that cure alien.
However, maybe it would be better to apply him as UI, so he won't go through objects (I know that then light won't affect it) Great game :)
