Main-640-512.png

Once upon a time in the country of high stone pillars, similar to Meteora, lived an elephant Jack. He loved life, his friends butterflies and flowers. And he loved to dream. Dreaming about how he will gain wings and be able to fly. Fly up over their native places and see the world in a new light. But, as it often happens ...

10533m not that great, but i have to go to sleep. BUT i have to say, it was quite fun. At first i played the ordinary life and it really had a twist to it  love it. Then i followed the elephants dream and flew in the sky. A nice little game. Keep it up, i hope i see a game from you in LD44

This is fun to play and works well, but i don't really get what the point of the energy drinks are.

@wie, i guess, idea was to avoid killing flowers (elephant's friend). And additional energy let him not to land on pillars.

@wie Yep, @asimo is right. But if you like to kill flowers/butterflies...

Nice game ! Well I don't especially want to kill flowers and butterflies, but I do it only to hear the "pfrrrrt oooow"

I liked the simplicity however I wasn't too sure where the sacrifice came into place seeing you get full energy back in the second game mode unless I missed something :)

Loved it, I think I enjoyed the ordinary life mode more :D In the follow the dream mode I wish there were some spaces where you have to aim for the energy drink to stay in the air (or that they showed sooner, maybe I just didn't play far enough).

Played the endless part I think I would love to see a detailed parallax background! Good Job!

I totally didn't get the "don't kill flowers and butterflies" until after the first play through, and once I did the game not only became way more fun but it actually kind of got to me — the whole poignancy of your theme. I'd love to see you take this theme and develop a more involved game out of it!

OK. This game actually threw me in for a bit of a loop. First though, I like the design of the elephant, that's some good pixel art work, though some particles that are affected by gravity would have added to it I feel. The music is simple enough, never gets in the way and there's quite a lot of sound effects, which is great!

I feel like the second game mode needs a bit more work on it. I never really felt, threatened, I only lost when I tried to see how long I could stay just above the bottom of the game. Maybe another obstacle or challenge?

The first game mode however, although it was quite short and basic (not negatively), I really, really liked it. So simple and sweet with some nice meta stuff in there. I thought it would just be an easier version of the second game mode (which is why I almost ignored it) and then I started playing it and the elephant would just say "hi!" I just went "Yeah I'm done with this", but then the text started appearing, and I actually became quite absorbed by watching this little elephant walk across the fields while I was being passed subliminal messages about how worthless my petty joy is. The end was kind of out of nowhere but a nice finish.

Not too keen on the second game mode but you actually had me quite hooked on the first one, thanks for making :)

Yeehaa!! Maybe I got the high score.

It's relaxing in a way once you get used to it. I kind of miss having a destination, but then again, maybe it's up to the player to imagine the dream. Good jobs folks.

It's quite a relaxing and pleasant game! Music sounds nice but it gives me the feeling that there is something dark lurking beneath the surface  Not too sure how I feel about stepping on the flowers and butterflies though haha.

For the game mechanics, it felt a little off to me. I guess i expected the elephant to fly faster. Maybe add a harder mode with faster game speed?

Overall great game!

Cool thing. I like that one sided collisions.

I think you can cheat if you fly low enough so that you headbutt the earth pillar, the camera moves forward, but elephant stays in place. And once it is outside of screen you can't fall down.

I appreciate the depth. The art style is cute, too.

I liked that the butterflies said hello to you in the ordinary life game mode. I don't really understand why following my dreams meant brutally murdering my former friends. I also don't know what Meteora is. I love the art though, and the dream mode controlled pretty well, even if it wasn't clear that it was a distance game rather than an "eventually there will be an end" game since the ordinary life mode crawls to a stop over time, whereas there was a lack of indicators of purpose or goal in the second one. I ended up making a goal of trying not to land on the flowers and butterflies, not that I did very well since at first I killed quite a few before I actively tried to not do that. Could have used a little bit of music (unless there was and it was so quiet I forgot, or didn't play in WebGL), but the sound effects were lovely.

Очень мило. Шрифт клевый. Звук забавный. Сначала подумал, что это не игра, а интерактивная картинка, но комментарии убедили поиграть подольше. Читать я не умею -)

Very cute. The font is cool. The sound is funny. At first I thought that this was not a game, but an interactive picture, but the comments convinced me to play a little longer. I can't read
