Block-a-thon! by Bruce

Plataformer + Falling Blocks: How long can you survive?
Our first Ludum Dare!
We've struggled a lot with the theme... 🤔
Thus, we arrived really late at the party due to that...
But it's alive! 😆
Here you can check out the result from only ~10 hours of sweat and tears.

This was how the game was like when we first submitted before the deadline.
THE TEAM
🧟♂️ @bruce (code/music) & 🧟♀️ @ester (art)#
For those wondering, we are a couple, @bruce works as Fullstack Webdeveloper and @ester works as a Graphic Designer. And the game was made in Unity 2017.4.
We will be updating the game with your feedbacks, so be sure to leave a comment if you have any suggestion.
Thank you for playing and please don't forget to rate. 😍

EDIT: Fixed! Here's the changelog, if anyone is interested:

I took notes about the awesome feedback, @ester is preparing a background for the game, and sticking to the side of the walls/blocks is actually a consequence of the simple control implementation I made due to the time constraint. 😱
I'll probably have an update fixing it this weekend! (And add local multiplayer, hopefully.) 😁
Noted! That's due to the size of the collider I used for the hit detection. I'll have that fixed in the next revision.
I'll look into those jump and collision problems this sunday, thanks for pointing that out.
Pretty sure that I'll have to do a proper implementation of movement and collision to address those issues... 😅
We'll keep that in mind for the next update. 🤓
Your advices were amazing, loved that talk about juicyness that you shared with us. 😁
