The last remaining space station at the end of the universe. Try and house as large of a population as you can while keeping the station in repair and its denizens content lest the consequences of their unruliness start your station on a downward spiral.

This is a deck building game similar to tabletop games like Race for the Galaxy and Terraforming Mars. The player will be faced with a series of events that add and remove cards from their hand. They can play any number of cards to their station but have to choose wisely as space is limited.

Goal: Try to get as large of a population in your station as possible! Find the best combination of modifier cards and species to maximize your capacity!

Instructions:

At the start of each round an event will take place that will give you 1 or more cards that will be added to your hand.

To play a card, click on a card (it will slide up slightly to denote its selection) and then click on the status text area at the bottom of a station arm section to move the card to that wing. If it's not possible to play the card there the game will give the reason with some audio.

All cards have various Food (F), Entertainment (E), Reactor (R), and Space (S) requirements.

Station wings will change colors to signify the group of species that they have been outfitted for. Once a wing has been assigned a group color, only species cards with the same color can be played there with the exception of robots (Gray) that can be played anywhere.

Modifier cards, white cards with magenta colored sections, cannot be played to a station where that card type has already been played.

Special species cards, colored cards with magenta sections, can be played multiple times to the same station wing but only the first will provide its special effect.

Once you're done playing cards for the round, click the green End Turn button and you can then discard any cards you desire. Species cards that you do not accept into your station will automatically be discarded. If you have more than 10 cards in your hand at the end of a round you will be forced to discard down to at most 10 cards.

Post your top scores! We're currently expecting 30-35 to be really good scores; can you top that?!

It's hard to tell what the values stand for, and the controls aren't immediately apparent, but it seems like it has the potential to be a lot of fun.

So it turns out I had inadvertently published the game before it was ready. Womp womp. Any comments before this were for the first test build but now I've got instructions on the game page and there's a lot more cards to play!

Once you know what each car does it gets better :p Did you intend not to write the bonuses on basic cards or was it lack of time ?
Had fun trying to optimize each game more than the previous one though I can't seem to get a better score than 26, how on [earth/space/your planet] can you get up to 35 points ? I see there are some improvement I can make (spice humans, etc) but that would bring me up to 30 max.
Nice game, nice graphics music and voice, good job !

Concept for the game is solid. Trying to figure out the requirements for each of the species was interesting and added some challenge to it, but it seemed a little unclear at times on what exactly was needed to place a species, be it one more food, or bar, etc. Graphics were nicely done and the humor was there on the cards and descriptions. It's amazing that you all made a card style game like this with fleshed out rules of play in the time limits of the jam. Would love to see a polished up version of this as a full game.
