Its kinda hard to see what i'm supposed to do.

Cool game. Was kinda hard to understand why the green bar was going down. At first I thought it was water but then it went down even when I was in a huge pool of water.

I've added more information in the description to help you. It's a plant, it need both sun an water. The more, the better.

There is no context really to what you're supposed to do. I figured it out after my second play-through when I just kept going down and I guess I found a portal?

A lot of it is trial and error and guessing which direction to waste all my moves in. I'm still not quite sure if I understand what's going on.

On my third run I noticed the yellow bar that appears when you go to the surface, though even when doing that and going in water the green bar goes down. I tried to understand but I'm still not 100% sure on what's going on, suggest adding a more descriptive tutorial or instructions.

Ignoring all of that, the game still has a system (of sorts), ui indicators, a tileset and sounds, so well done for getting it all done in 48 hours! :)

For people who are confused: From what I understand, you are a plant. The green bar is your health. To be healthy you need both water (grow into blue water tiles) and sunlight (grow up to the surface). The bigger you are, the more water and sunlight you need. Your goal is to reach a seed hidden in the level, so you need to grow to explore while also making sure you have enough water and sun.

Interesting. I managed to figure out how it works to make it to level 2, and found the seed there but the game stopped responding to my input when I was only two tiles away. :(

One issue is the controls are a little too sensitive when you're trying to retrace your steps - at least, they are if your plant is as wobbly as mine. Fiddliness is not ideal when your plant is dying.
