In the lands between dimensions, lives a being who captures souls and returns them to the underworld.

Grim Deeper is a hack and slash, with roguelite elements. Explore through the landscape, fight enemies to collect their soul, and buy upgrades with those souls to further your progression. Can you make it to the teleporter without losing your own soul?

This game can be completed in 10-15mins.

Loved it. Looks really nice in general, even though I thought that the background doesn't quite fit the chars. Some sfx would be a cool addition. Thanks for the entry

Very streamlined feel walking up with the tutorial text breadcrumbed at just the moments where you need it. The trees on the sides and the black particles across the screen add a lot to setting the mood.

Whenever I attacked the first enemy, the character would get stuck in the middle of it and I couldn't move or die. There was pretty bad framerate on my machine, which might have been why.

Great game! The combat was fun, especially with the dash mechanic added in (dashing in, slashing the enemies and dashing back out felt great). As already mentioned, some sound effects would have been great. I really enjoyed this one!

Really cool game with lovely graphics and sound. Liked the atmosphere and the combat felt very streamlined. I need to git gud though turns out I suck at this.

Looks like my notebook doesn't have enough power to run the game. I had slowdowns and several times the character just stuck, not reacting to keyboard or mouse.
Anyway, I'd like to praise the art style and graphics! Well done!

Loved it how you made a simplistic but great game with awesome visuals and good controls. Loved the dash too but would have loved if there would have been maybe one different type of enemy. But I have to say its an awesome game and I hope that you keep working on it because its too good to let down :D

Awesome atmosphere and great game feel. There were a few slowdowns and bugs but nothing too severe to take away from the experience. Nice!

I love the game, especially the dash animation. however it's bit hard to attack, maybe if the character faces the mouse direction or something would help.

Super fun game!! Art is beautiful, The game was so expresive that I could even hear sounds despite it not having any. I loved the trade of between trying to kill the bad guys and being careful of not loosing my souls at the same time. Great Work!

Amazing mood and fun game. I would have played to the end no matter how long it was.

A well made game! It is so moody and the only thing that this game lacks is sound feedback. Slashes, footsteps, little exterior bits, enemies getting hit and stuff like that.

If you imagine all the feedback sounds yourself while playing the game, it feels really good. You've made a great game in this time limit. Id love to play your other games if there will be any :)

Had a lot of fun playing your game false! The mix of 2d and 3d is a really neat look plus that character was so cool looking! Loved all the particle effects as well as the shaders too!

It took me a while to figure out that the character attacked in the direction of the mouse and that there was a slight cooldown after three attacks so maybe some sort of indication of this would be helpful :)

Really cool game though man keep up the great work!

The feeling of urgency created by the total 1 soul left after the doors at the tutorial were a nice touch!
Combat feels nice, so does the music; hence the atmosphere feels good.
I liked it!
