The More You Make by TerraCottaFrog
I made 24 games for this Ludum Dare, because the more games you make, the worse they are.
This gif contains all of them:

Have fun!!!
Controls:
- Arrows / WASD
- Z/X or K/L for button 0 and 1.
- Escape to go back to the title or menu
- Enter to start a game
Tips:
- Virtuaman and Waste of Time run in the background while you play other games!
- To revive your Virtuaman, press button 0.
- Pressing button 0 anywhere in the game will increase your score for Waste of Time.
Updates:
Since releasing the game, I have:
- Added an html5 version
- Removed the html5 version because of a series of stupid bugs (undefined handled differently, camera setup in room start not supported, and many more) in gamemakers html5 export. I would not recommend getting it.

On the down side: I'm not sure on what to think about how much does this entry actually fills the theme. Sure, there are "more" games, but I don't really think they are "worse" because of being more. The proof is obvious: they are good games; I don't see anything that got "worse". Of course, I'm not saying that you should've done mediocre games instead! All in all, I really enjoyed this.
Its amazing you manage to make that many games in such time. Keep Going!
Given the context of this game I don't really have anything to suggest for once ^^". Good job !
What issues did you have with the pet one and pseudosnake? They work fine for me in the web version.
I'd love to have this as a mobile app, with online leaderboards in all the different games!
For 48 hours, you did insanely well.
PS: I liked the simplicity of "c what i mean" a lot, but please have mercy for QWERTZ keyboards... ;)
My pet died right in the beginning and I can't even get it back to life by restarting the game :(
All in all a very unique take on the theme. I just wish the games were more than their parts. There could be something that binds them together, like an achievement you have to get in each of the subgames to finish the overall game. Or maybe I'm missing something.
@cerno-b To revive the pet, press button 0
@gamepopper Which browser are you using? High scores in browsers work for me (in firefox quantum)
I played Loan Shark the most. Aww Chute reminded me of Ganja Farmer, is that the reference? Also, is Cardinal an homage? I assume but don't recognize it. It's satisfying.
I have never been more happy to be wrong.
I have no complaints. all of the games are great.
nice job!
Graphics and sound do their job, as always, but I love that you decided on such a silly (?) and in my opinion really overambitious concept. I guess all those onehourgamejams finally paid off
Another cool entry, as expected
Waste of time: "Current number: Undef" - is that a bug? I also don't have a virtuaman, the title says undefined, and the landscape is empty.
The effort is amazing and I appreciate the amount of work and thought :)
Technically though, I can't believe a game this tiny lags THIS much. So, so much lag. I played the chrome web build, I'm on a mac. And I would say sacrifice particle effects to get the game to play well enough.
Also I feel like some of the games simply dragged on. Cardinal, racing car, etc. By you not booting the player out quickly (or the game being hard enough to boot them out quickly enough) you leave the opportunity for the player to actually get bored. So I think the warioware approach to this is prudent - end each of the mini games sooner than later, one way or the other.
Then, a minor but I think important thing, putting virtuaman first means that a lot of people would not read (a lot of people do not read and it's noone's fault, it's just how it goes) and would go straight in and think your game's broken because the game does nothing, even after reading "oh these are the controls". At least make virtuaman react in some way to key inputs and say "hey man I'm just chilling" "quit to play a real game" or something.
Cool stuff :)
Interessante abordagem ao tema! Joguei alguns dos jogos e gostei bastante dos designs, parabéns pelo trabalho.
I don't give 5 stars to the theme because it didn't get worse, sorry ;D
So as a quick note, I played the web version first, and there are issues there. Virtual Man just doesn't work, neither does clicker. High scores don't save. So I switched back over to the windows version which does work better. The games are nice, and while the aesthetic is simple, the uniformity across the 20 games makes it very cohesive. I also love the gratuitous explosions you've put throughout the games. It really makes the games pop much more than you would think.
I think the one thing I wound suggest to add is to have some form of communal score tally so that your score is the sum of all scores. This would require some balance on the game scores but shouldn't be too bad.
Also Lander... I hate that game. I am so bad.
Very well done!
Smooth particle effects/explosions/screenshakes makes it fun and pleasant despite the over-used old school gameplays, amount of games keep you busy for a while even if you don't like one :p Good job, great interpretation of the theme !
Cheers!
This game also reminds me of when people ask me about starting game development. I always tell them to start out by making a bunch of small games, which this entry does a great job of demonstrating.
You might want to remove the 'web' link from the entry since you removed the web version.
* The time between losing and restarting is a bit long (Though I found that esc + enter is very fast)
* It took me a while to figure out virtuaman (the bar on the bottom of the screen)
* I didn't get any points in Take a Brick despite clearing every brick on the screen
* I want to go left and right in the list of games
* I tried to go off the bottom of the screen in Amok and died (I guess I was supposed to go right, but the whole screen was black)
I played it with my brother, 3 rounds each game fighting for the best score, and we had tons of fun. Thank you for this game, mate
