Goblins 2 Go by SFBTom
Fresh goblins made to order!
Play the game in the browser on itch.io

Carefully pour a mixture of potions into the cauldron to cook up the requested goblin!

We were only able to jam for 8 hours each day over the 3 days, so we had about 24 hours total time to make this game. We're happy with the result though!
Can anyone get over 95%? Post a screenshot in the comments if you do!

I love the designs and animations so muuuuuuuuuuch ! It was crazy funny, experimenting all the differents combinations.
I hope you get a good rank !
The only thing lacking are some stakes or some kind of goal. Maybe the customer gets annoyed while his time is running out?
But all in all it is just plain fun to play your game!
Jogo muito bonito e bem acabado! Gostei da mecânica principal. Parabéns pelo jogo.
Not much to say, no suggestions, just great!
You've got way better art and fluid physics going on tho'.
Your art style is amazing, really fun I can play this for hour x)
The fluid physics is sooo satisfying
Maybe my favorite! So polish and fun!
Awesome job!
*My best score is 87% :D *
I'm not sure if it fits the theme that well, but who cares ?
It feels super-polished and anyone can get it pretty easily I think. It's great that you also put some images to tell what the potion does. Super useful when you're not a native english speaker.
It's incredible to see how much time the game can get our attention with verry few mechanics. That's so cool; I wish I could go back in time to do a bit more of that in my entry :O
The short term goals were fun to work out - slightly frustrating in the beginning without much of an immediate feedback, but once you get over that hump it made sense. The drawing being a very different style to the actual goblin threw me a bit, and also I expected the bottom right goblin to match up to the potion I was dumping in the pot. I think it would be better to have the next goblin come in later because it's a obvious focal point and can be misleading.
Would love some longer term goals :)
Nice work!
My best score was 85% I think!
really good work!
My best score was 89%.
The visuals are adorable and very polished, the gameplay is simple enough that it's easy to pick up, but complex enough that it takes a while to master. You've implemented the theme in a pretty unique way as well. Really loving this! I hope to see this system implemented as a mechanic in one of your future games :)
Great work!
78% something was as far I could get ;)
One curious thing I noticed: am I right that the game is not quite as exacting as it looks? Like it seems to me like there are certain "thresholds" of each ingredient to produce a specific effect; i.e. you won't get proportionally bigger arms for each minuscule drop of Buff Boy you put in, but you will get bigger arms for each X amount you put in. Or am I clutching at straws here?
