About
============
"You are the last survivor of the sunken atlantis city, you managed to save the most ancient technology of the city, the Atlantis Core.
it used to power the whole city and keep it afloat.
You are stuck on a small island, with only these: the tree of wisdom, one sweet water pool, one chest with tidbits, and the atlantis core.
The core is an awesome solar powered device, but it's only as powerful as the wisdom of it's holder, you will only be able to do some actions every day untill it runs out of charge.
You will have to rebuild atlantis, while learning why it falled, and facing opposition from dark forces that do not want it rebuilt."
^ That was the initial idea I wrote down when starting this project. The game is a bit different then what is described there, no sweet water, chest or tree of wisdom.
I didn't get around to adding Enemies, or defensive structures as I wanted.
For now it is a kind of a sandbox game, build whatever you want, and have fun ^^

I couldn't rotate/scale objects with R/S when I tried, but still a nice job done. I always liked to play minecraft skybox maps, and this concept is quite similar to it. Start with nothing and build whatever you like.
So gratz for getting as far as you did creating this game. (a lot of receipes, growing cycles for the plants, etc)
Only thing which I would have liked (if you would have had time left): An ingame receipe book. :)
Otherwise it's a good proof of concept... and if I would have been able to rotate the walls, I would have spent even more time on it.
If you would have had unlimited time to finish it, this would been a game where I would waste a LOT of time. :D
Maybe next time I should add a simple in-game page for controls and goals even if I got no time. it's at least something.
Can I change the direction of the walls, and how do I do that?
Thanks for the info about the receipts, else a lot of things would've taken a lot longer!
This is one of those games that could really blossom into something awesome if you kept working on it.
I did have to start over once, as I accidentally destroyed the tree I made because I "Scroll clicked" it with the Atlantis Core active, which simply removed the tile, and any future hope of my civilization ;-)
Good job!!
Web Version worked for me.
I like the music and what you can achieved but it's a too long to start. I would suggest to have a little more for the beginning.
Music pairs good with the gameplay.
It's a little disturbing to be able to create floor only near you but anyway, it's a very good game!
Congrats!
The amount of items is amazing. I couldnt figure out how to harvest my corn becuase scroll button destroyed the ground underneath it, so i just cheated :D
I like the lowpoly look. Maybe implement a* pathfinding, so you dont have to click tile for tile when moving around. But it was still an awesome experience.
The music and the 3D assets are cool!
A tutorial and more explanation can be great! Because read permanently the page is tricky
But despite this good job! Great submission :)
The game you wanted to do with enemies and defensive structure would have been so great! Feel more like a start of a real game in the current state.
Also the game feel a little slow and you haven't really anything to do when waiting for your plantation to grow. May be add some mining like minecraft or something else next to only plantation and wait would help.
Good luck in the future, good start overall.
I dig the soundtrack =)!
The jam-version is really cool, with nice graphics, and gentle background music.
Controls are a bit hard to manage - left, right, center mouse all do different things, depending on the "core" mode, so it's easy to make a mistake during harvesting and such.
I also found a small bug with corn. Once it's grown, you can "plant" the harvested corn again - which you can harvest again immediately to multiply.
However, I definitely enjoyed playing around and learning from my mistakes :) The 'terraforming' aspect is really nice; the crafting system is quite intuitive (thanks to the notes here), and the self-expanding world is also a cool feature!
Great work!
I think for a basis to start a new game, there's something special going on here. I look forward to future developments!
Fell in love with the bunny statues. I hope you do more with this.~
We played your game on stream too: https://www.twitch.tv/cantgetourname/v/89523218
Here is my let's play, I was very tired and the calming nature of the game didn't help xD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXBTs3a0eSg
