COMMANDS :

  • WASD / ZQSD to move
  • Left and Right clic to fire
  • E to merge the 2 elements in your hand

You, as an elemental humanoid, must kill the oppressive gigantic earth golem to protect the DeathWorld.

Our Hero can control 3 different elements : Fire / Ice / Electricity. Each hand can stand 1 element, which makes combo possible. To take an element in your left : hit 1, 2 or 3 on your keyboard to select it from your spell bar then left click to put it in left hand. To take an element in your right hand : hit 1, 2 or 3 on your keyboard to select it from your spell bar then right click to put it in right hand. When you got an element in each hand, you can merge it to make a combo spell.

COMBOS: - Fire + Fire = Attak Speed buff. - Ice + Ice = Icebloc to protect yourself. - Electricity + Electricity = Transfer. - Fire + Ice = FlameThrower. - Fire + Electricity = Fire Tornado - Ice + Electricity = Antimatter Missile.

But, in order to defeat the monster, you'll need to regain mana from the DeathWorld. Indeed, the golem is surely going to kill you, or you will come out of mana, so as a ghost you'll be able to harvest mana orbs from the DeathWorld. Regaining your mana is a tought journey, because you'll have less and less time depending on your death count. The spirits will let you in the other world only 30 seconds at first, and decrease the time left by 5 seconds at every deaths. If you collect up to 10 orbs ( 100 mana ), you will come back to life to continue your fight. If you don't collect enought mana in the remaining time, the spirits will keep you in the death world forever.

Thank you in advance for testing our game,

Reborn TEAM.

- The controls are incredible awkward. Standard W, A, S, and D didn't work on my end, despite the game page saying they would :(

- GORGEOUS visuals! Very easy on the eyes

- The music fits nicely, but the game could do with more SFX

Nice work, I can tell the team put a lot of effort into this :)

Looks great and I had fun playing! Taking down a huge giant feels really good; magic combos suits really well.

Some critiques:
- Movement feels sluggish
- The death portal + mana collection was a bit slow/tedious
- Didn't really fit the theme

The graphics looked realy nice. he controlls are a bit clunky but this gigantic boss is nice.
I think the orb thing slowed the game a bit down.

It may be the most technically impressive game I've played this jam. Low - poly models look sweet, and mechanics are implemented really well - I have not experienced any problems. Good job!

This is very impressive. A few minor issues hold it back but it is really something.
- The music doesn't loop so the game feels quite empty when it stops
- The QUIT button doesn't work on the main menu after quitting from the game level
- It is hard to tell when you have taken damage as there is no indication aside from the health bar lowering

Apart from these minor issues, it is really great. The sense of scale on the creature is fantastic, the world feels stylistic and cool. Love it!

This has one of the best graphics this jam (that I've played so far), but the gameplay is a little clunky and glitchy.

1. The game would be much better if it had better feedback, because it is quite difficult to assess when does the player take damage from certain attacks (like the groundpound).
2. Collecting orbs was very annoying, since I have to walk precisely over them. It would be much better to have a much bigger collection area.
3. The AI barely hits the player. I can stand just next to its feet and it will get stuck in a sweep attack loop.
4. Does not fit the theme for me. There is no sacrifice or even choice. The player just dies from time to time.

Very impressive though. Good job.

I need more feedback. I'm frequently dying without any apprent reason. Give me some sort of indication as to what killed me so I know for next time. Was I in the range of a groundpound? What is its range? I think my problem was with snowballs lying around. It seems you take damage from them even if they are stationary, which is tedious. Speaking of tedious, the death sequence with mana orbs is very annoying and interupts the gameplay. Also, like many have said, lacks clear connection with the theme. Could have also done with some music and more sound effects, as the occasional sound effects that do appear feel out of place. Overall a nice concept, and the game looks like it should have taken more than three days (not questioning your integrity, just impressed by the amount of work completed!) Nice game, and with some minor tweaks it could be even better!

EDIT:
Why can't I rate this game on graphics?! That was the best part!

This was an ambitious and fun entry. The theme is loosely attached and the visuals are fantastic. The orb collection was a little bit rough sometimes and I needed to circle back around for orbs that I thought I hit. All of the spell options were really cool. I also kind of wish the boss throwing at you animation was a little bit more distinct from the other boulder based abilities. Great entry overall!

Intresting use of stock graphics assets, I like how you not only scaled up the Synty golem character, but really given him a sense of scale. I only wished the game arena had a little more detail, it seems a little bland compared to your menu screens. I would have liked to see more of the pretty Nature Pack in the arena scene as well.

Gameplay-wise I enjoyed the feel of the magic powers, a little more feedback on hitting the boss would have been nice. It took me a moment to check whether I did any damage or not. I would have also liked if there had been a few smaller enemies running around to add to the challenge.

Good and ambitious entry! Was a bit hard to harvest the orbs without having shadows (no depth perception), and unfortunately all music and sound disappeared after I came back the first time.

The game felt fresh. Nothing like the other ones I have played so far. I really enjoyed the mixing mechanic. And the graphics are implemented really well. Good job :)
