To get out of this place, you just need to keep going right.
However, to get to the end point, sacrifices must be made...

This is a game about slow motion flying and limbs pulling
To complete a level, try your best to let your HEAD pass through the hole on the right hand side

Back to this game, I got a similar idea when brainstorming, but I did't come out a nice mechanism.
Your game mechanism is exactly fit the theme and also very fun to play.

Finally passed this lv.lol. Really enjoyed play your game. Great job, I rate a lot of 5 star for this one.
@arkiruthis I love terrance and phillip! I didn't think about them when I was making this game but indeed they are kind of similar. :joy:
@lanik2000 Wow that is good idea! I thought about giving player ability to zoom in/out but I didn't implement it. Maybe I should let player zoom in at 3D view to enjoy their "Art" after they completed the level. That will be awesome!

There's no theme song, but I found my self singing Yakety Sax in my head the whole time.
@mrspeaker haha that kind of music really fit this game and it can level up the gameplay experience!
However, I don't really know how to create good music so yeah that' sad :cry:
Overall though, the polish was really great, and it all felt really good. Great job!
But I did had some issues using the main mechanic - it didn't seem to work always for me, perhaps I was doing something wrong
Only thing I didn't like was the graphics, which are pretty basic, but damn, the rest is awesome!

Andrea Yeah the graphics are really basic, I only use blender to make a simple Trapezoid model, and the rest are only cubes and sphere! but hay at least the face is pretty neat, aren't it? :joy:

However, that's kind of difficult the design proper user interaction because they will need to pull a small guy's limbs in a large space! That' ll need a lot of work to make it comfortable to play with.
Ah, I just want to say Thanks, I learn a lot of things about level design from your articles!
However, I know the level design in my game is not good enough, maybe it is ok for a jam
but yeah still really excited to get your approval.

My main criticism is a small one: the edge of the level was off the screen, so it was difficult to move the character (when standing) by a click to move mechanic. May be just make the exit point visible on screen?

HOLY SHIT I must say that "Kill the Bad Guy" is the one game I searched for years!
Many years ago I watch one youtube video of this game and after several years I start learning game development then I always want to make a god game that use the environment to kill people. It remains me about "Kill the Bad Guy" but I don't know the game name at that time. Therefore in the past few years, I tried many times to search it on GOOGLE with different keywords but I never found it! And HERE YOU ARE OMG.

The difficulty spike was however quite steep. Got stuck at level 4 pulling his head off by mistake. I felt the two levels after where easier, but it was maybe just me.
I also feel that the canon should have an indicator of whit how much force it’s going to shoot. I also accidentally keep holding down the mouse button expecting to charge the cannon, so for me at least this would feel more natural way to charge it than the distance thing.
Other than that, it was a super cool game, and I enjoyed playing it. Well done!

Also, I just add a function to skip level(press P) and I tweak Level 4 because I think it is not friendly to player who just start playing this game, it is not just your problem! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

(sorry for the double post, I meant to post it here in first place but I messed up haha)
The whole thing was quite frantic, but I often felt I was not in control so much. I got stuck in the level with the three walls after I could not find out how to launch the guy again after he landed. So instead I made this :D

Good times.
If you want to launch the same guy again, first you need to wait until the ragdoll's pose is stable, then you need to click on the rest space(not the limbs) to turn the guy from ragdoll mode to standing mode. After that, you can move him by mouse and he will be launched when he is near the cannon.
Arh.. This is not a friendly control and I replace it in my post-jam version, you may take a look if you are interested, not for rating, just for fun!
Also, you can click on the UNLOCK ALL button at level selection page to skip the level or you can take a look at the walkthrough video to see how I pass the level!
