Took me a while to figure out what to do and how to play, but at some point I understood how to progress to the next level. In level 4 however, I was completely stuck and had no clue what I needed to do. :(
The graphics are nice, so is the gameplay. Combining platformer with a pool game is also a nice idea which fits the theme really well. Overall, good entry, even though I wish I could have gotten past level 4. :P
Here is some improvement you could make IMO :
* I feel like collision was a little random.
* It was not easy to understand i had to click on the character, i don't understand this constraint ...
* I died when passing a door by falling in the first hole :-/
* All the game scroll when i re-spawned
A or Q for moving left well appreciated for AZERTY people ;-)
Nice job with the graphics !
@apace > You need 3 rebounds before hitting a blue ball to kill it. Your progression is saved on your computer, you can retry it whitout doing previous levels.
@lerg & @robinbyzhou & @vinegarlove > Thanks for playing it ! I want to work on a less confusing version in the days to come.
@visumecadroide > You need to click near the character to shoot. Nothing happened if you click too far. I don't know if it's a good design choice, didn't think much about it with the 48 hours rush.
@mgsx > Thanks for the feedback. Sadly, I have a very much bigger list of improvement to make ! The others are already in it but I'll add the "jumping directly to your death passing a door". Closing monster's hole a couple seconds on start of each room could do the trick. Thx!
Well done, thanks a lot for sharing!
Good job :D
I would have appreciated some background music and different sounds, but overall it is a good game with a neat idea that I enjoyed playing. Congrats!
It's not entirely clear what opens up the pockets to shoot the enemies in, which would be nice to know.
I'm not entirely sure that the flying enemies that require three (?) rebounds to kill are exactly fair -- if their AI worked and they didn't get trapped in the middle pocket, they would be very difficult to kill.
