Attack of the Killer Zombie Veggies from Outer Space by abcdef65g
Made by our usual two-man team for Ludum Dare 40. Hope you will enjoy the result!
Fight a wacky and healthy alien invasion as Timmy Hilfinger in this cheap B-movie knockoff! Collect guns in order to hold off the vegetable menace, but beware the fact that more guns can be as much a boon as an inconvenience!
Use WASD/Arrow Keys to move, and shoot with spacebar/left click. Switch guns with Q/E or mouse scrollwheel.
EDIT (05/12/17): Fixed upload error and added AMAZING cover artwork by our team's own @ryrumeli. Thanks a lot! EDIT (11/12/17): First post jam build now up, majorly improving performance!

Some notes I had:
* I experienced some pretty poor framerates when on fullscreen mode.
* Not having all guns look basically the exact same would be nice. Variety on shapes would be nice.
Overall though, I though it was well executed! Thanks for participating!
I was a bit confused as to what exactly the different guns were supposed to represent. Best I could tell, I was simply picking up new guns when my old ones ran out of ammo? It would be more interesting if there were guns with different kinds of firing patterns, etc, and if they had to be acquired through means other than just spawning in.
The other thing is that this game is really easy. Best I can tell, difficulty never really increases, or if it does, it increases so slowly that I didn't stick around long enough to find out. Which, of course, made having three whole lives a bit excessive.
Good job over all, though.
However, there still are too many features missing to actually call it a proper game. For example just loosing some points when they reach the end would have been nice, or at least a funny text appearing when we let too many go...
But hey, that's Jam ! So we do what in can in the limited time available. So I'd love to see your next production if you stick to that that weird tone.
