DBK - A Band Story by Sebastian-M
The legendary band DBK
Everyone have heard their songs but few know the band's beginnings. Follow DBK in every step of the way to fame, including all the sacrifices they had to make.
Gameplay
DBK is a puzzle game with some twist. You need to help each member get to the rehearsal, picking up their instrument and the money they need first. Each member can interact with the objects of its color.

Controls
- Move characters with WASD.
- Change characters with Space or using the numpad (1-3).
- Rotate the camera dragging with your mouse.
- Interact with objects walking to them.
Music
I love making dynamic soundtracks, I have done it for every Ludum Dare I've made. this game is not exception, try to notice how the music changes as you play.
Notes
Sadly, the game only have 7 out of my planned 15 levels. But is fully playable and fun to do so. I might add more levels to it, if you check the source code you could see levels are represented by a json file, so it's quite easy to add more.

The premise of telling the story of a band is a pretty cool choice with good potential! In the end I did feel the story lacked a little bit of character, but I've been guilty of the same thing under the pressure of jams. The level count however turned out pretty decent: the game takes 5-10mn to beat which is good for a jam, and enough to let us discover the gameplay possibilities.
Gameplay-wise the puzzles were not too hard but still enjoyable, and the couple issues I had seem easy enough to iron out. For instance I've been in a situation where Yellow was alone without enough money, waiting patiently for a dollar to spawn on his side. Just before it was too late, money finally popped, but as soon as I walked on it the tile dropped without warning :sob:
Anyway nice job, this is a top tier entry for me!
EDIT: Almost forgot to give some love to the dynamic tune
Downloading your source code to learn from it.
Congratulations on having a solid product and have my respect for being solo developer!
Just a not on a bug I had: On level 2-2 the start-up screen did not go away, so I could not play it. I was on the WebGL build.
