Battery puns and overly suggestive battery insertion videos - this was great! I really enjoyed this, good job guys! I'll never insert a battery the same way again.

Well I never thought I would play a dating sim in LD but here it is  !

The writing was great and the puns were flowing, I don't think I'll look at batteries the same way now !

Great stuff, keep up the good work !

Well that was an entertaining story. Sure it's about dating as usual, but the battery theme was a very funny take on it.

Now then, to complaining. Whenever I play interactive media, regardless of the medium, I have to bring up choice and consequence. If none of the choices change anything, then what is the point of interactivity in the first place. The story here is interactive, but it never changes based on what you do. There are no consequences to any choice and as such it would work in video or short story form just a well.

The thing is, there are a few obvious and easy ways you could add consequences to this very same story:

* Blowing a date, no not that way, as in making a very bad impression (those pick-up lines already exist) and causing the date to go bust. Someone hates you now, good job!
* The bad guy should be a stalker who follows "promising" batteries who use the app. So after 2-3 dates the bad guy strikes and takes the player (I called him Mr Creepy and no-one cared!) to their lair.
* Then when you have to message someone it suddenly matters how well your dates went. If you try to contact someone who doesn't like you, then they will dismiss the message (you could have a funny reaction scene here too).
* With no help you are fresh out of luck. Try again with different dates this time maybe? Replayability!

That's what I would change at least. Eh, I was entertained anyways. Fine job on the story itself. Do think about interactivity and consequences next time some more.

The WORLD wasn't ready for this. bwaha it was a good laugh! I did have a little issue, I went out with penelope first and when the "date" was over it started talking as if I had been on a date with "terry" who I never saw on the sparkr list. At some point stranger turned up and conversation goes back to terry again as if I had met them but I never did. Still, very entertaining!

Oh my god! This is genius. I laughed so hard. The vid inserts are hilarious. Agreed that decisions having more consequences could be good. Amount of writing/ text, puns etc... quite impressive and so fun. Really diverse too, was a pleasant change from most dating sims.

Wow. I didn't expect that.
Great writing and humour.
And finally a game with sex scenes that you don't feel embarrassed about because they are awkward.
Well done guys. You really impressed me.

Holy shit this was good, the amount of hilarious dialogue written here is immense for 72 hours. The vid inserts were pure gold.

For further improvement, the game could certainly use some choice-consequence pairings, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story for what it was.

I'm impressed. Amazing work!

That was incredibly hilarious! Extremely well done humor!

I did't mind the lack of consequences; the interactivity was good enough for me.
Maybe some really basic checks in the textboxes where you can type things would be nice but even that I would consider a nice bonus than expected.

The only nitpicks I have that some of the text blocks were a bit hard to read in fullscreen with such a small font and long sentences and I would have liked an option not to have to choose every option in a conversation after the initial line.

What a beautifully absurd concept, and well-executed too!

The videos had me breaking out with laughter every time! Just the right length to sell the joke. :)

Hey y'all made ant detective <3 Lovely to see this entry.

I'll start with my one nitpick. As a trans woman I'm probably too sensitive to this and/or overthinking it, but the "deranged person who wants to transform into something unnatural" gave me uncomfortable feelings. A lot like the villain in Silence of the Lambs (which was a very recognizably transphobic and misogynistic piece of writing). I'm sure it wasn't intentional, though?

However! Everything else *sparkles*. The writing is fun and funny and stayed clear of sexism for the most part (poor french guy, getting sensitive about size). The plot twist at the end was brilliant, I was like, I *trusted you* Terry, how could my detective be such a bad judge of character!!

The music was great and moody. Oh, I might have liked the characters to do a little jump animation or something, in addition to the brilliant facial expressions, when it's their turn to say their line. Sometimes I had to keep track of who was talking.

All in all an excellent entry, thank you for making this <3

Oh wow, this is really really funny, so much my humour. It was really unique as well, one of my favourite entries purely on the comedy front and the graphics/videos did an amazing job. (As well with the music.) Fantastic work and even more so fantastic puns! <3

Didn't think I'd ever play a battery dating sim. Now I've seen it all! Those electrical puns sure kept on coming, one might even say there was a surge of them.
