@mintybacon what browser do you use? I just found out that such a problem (black screen) is reproduced in a safari, but in Google Chrome all works

I played this game with my friend (actually the second DEV for my jam entry) and we had lots of fun.
You nailed it! We're rolling on the floor when the blue duck popped out announcing the goal XDXDXD
Thanks!

Played alone at my first try, and then played it with my little sister, it was so funny, especially this thug life duck yelling "It's a goal" XD. In my first try, I found that the AI was not that intelligent but the AI logic is pretty cool in 48hours limit. Liked these sound effects and I found these 3D models funny. It's a pretty cool game overall! Good job!

I like it. The AI logic seemed almost entirely random. It didn't make a goal at all if I stopped moving. Otherwise it ran well and it was fun.

Fun and hilarious, controls is a bit weighty and floaty, but it was fun :-) Good job, especially in the short time :-)

But in "one player mode", WASD is not easy (impossible?) to play with a french keyboard :-)

Nice voice work, I did like the giant duck shouting "gooooaal". Haven't played a game with a duck holding an automatic weapon since Dynamite Dux on the master system in 1989!

Wow, thats a really nice game! I like the simple but fitting sound design
But I found a small problem. On my 13-inch MacBook (2560x1600 pixels) the image of the HTML5 version in Safari is cropped at the left and right side in fullscreen. It's good in windowed mode. I don't know if this is only a problem with the web version.

The graphics are very beautiful and I like the global mood. (music fits well with the big duck ^^)
I could not try the 2 players mode and the 1 player was a bit too easy because of the AI, I never losed, but all other aspects of the game are really great i think.
Great job on this game!

Funny gameplay with really nice graphics :) I think it would be better if the ducks were not "floating", if they just stop when I release arrow button. But it's part of fun in multiplayer mode I guess... Anyways, geat job!

Great game with a great atmosphere and sense of humor (goooaaal !). The graphics are functional, but I really loved the sound design, and especially the choice to put random sportsmen in the background. Shooting works well, and the physics of the ball (going slightly up when being shot at) helps moving out of some positional lockdowns. Nice work !

Nice game, interesting way to play football, that's for sure!

I only have grips with two things:

1- Don't use SHIFT or CTRL for Action Keys!!! There's Q, E, Z, X, C and the SPACE bar for that in one side of the keyboard and the Numerical Keyboard on the other. And if you consider laptops which don't have the later, you still have ENTER, BACKSPACE, IJKL and all the keys surrounding it! You have a lot of options on the keyboard, make use of them.

2- Frictionless movement is kind of annoying. I know that because my game on this jam, [Tharkarys Invasion](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tower-defense-shootem-up-1), suffered because I could not implement it, and the same problem happens with this game here. Trying to control the player character turned out to be much more dificult then it should.

Aside from these, great game, lot's of fun, hope you do well. Cheers.

Interesting game. I wasnt sure if the other duck was AI or another player ... it seemed random, but so did i :))
One thing that wasnt really clear is which gate i should score to, since the blue duck was appearing in both cases.
Some funny music would have been great also :)
Anyway, GG.

I love local multiplayer games! This has a great style and idea, but the execution is not quite there. The big problem is that the controls are very float-y, so they feel imprecise. In a game like this, I want to be able to make sharp turns, etc. to outmaneuver my opponent, and I can't here.

Great idea -- needs more work/polish.

Nice game but I kept managing to close the game trying to jump shoot at my opponent! CTRL + W closes firefox tabs! Physics could do with some refinement as it really effects how easy the game controlled.

Funny idea, and the fact that there's an AI it's very interesting. However I think that the controls can improve a lot. Polising more detailed some points like collisions, speeds... I think i'd be great. Good job :)

Nice game. The visuals and mainly ducks looks so good and that blue duck that announces the goals is really funny. The sound effects are also so nice. I really like the idea and I think it can be extended to more than 2 players. The game is really fun but it needs some balancing. For example, I can stand in my goal and the ball will never be able to get in it, so if I get the first goal, I can assure my win. The AI acts really weird and I am not sure how it can win with that playing strategy. Finally, the control feels a bit floaty but it is not so bad. Great work.

I loved the duck when someone goals, the artificial intelligence is a really weird, he just keeps jumping.
Just a point, to play the browser version the CTRL key is used for shortcuts, so I closed the tab 3 times haha, but it's not a game problem, really cool 1x1 game, appreciated!

Started not liking the floatiness of the character but once you get the hang of it it's quite nice. Fun to play with a friend and visually I just wished a some juice (particles, screenshake and the lot).

Oh boi, those sliding mechanics xD !! I was sliding all over the place haha! No but in all seriousness, pretty solid game! Quite enjoyable I'd say. I didn't get to play coop tho but I think it could get quite competative ;). I hate to say this but it really resembles rocketleague tho, with ducks instead of cars xP. Don't take it in a bad way, it's still enjoyable, just the idea could be a bit more original. One thing also bugged me a little. Every time I scored there would be a big mama duck in background which I think is really funny and cool, but I's love that they would change colors depending on who scores instead of being always that blue one. Nicely done, good job ;)

Good game, congratulations, I think it should have a level of difficulty to be selected, and improve the opponent's IE (He did not score any goals).

Great work on grafics and UI. It's quite a fun multiplayer game. Dunno, if you intentionally made the movement controls slippery but i get that rubber ducks tend to be slippery. It also makes the game interesting.

When you shooot the ball, it pops up more than it goes forward. I also feel that the game can be expanded on my introducing holes on the floor or an open level design similar to those in Super Smash Bros.

Overall, fun game!!

You had me at football and then I saw rubber ducks holding AK-47 and nothing was the same anymore;P When I managed to use a bullet to lob the ball over the head of the opponent and then dribble past him (I believe football players call this particular move 'el sombrero') I felt kinda ecstatic. The game is very innovative and if I had to point out one thing that isn't that good it would probably be the ambient sounds that might suit a more traditional take on a football game, but not one that's played by rubber ducks using AK's :) Still, that's not very important and on the whole you've managed to make a really fun game. Good job!

It's so much fun to play with another player! Good gameplay balance overall, it works perfectly in almost every situation. It's just a pity that to avoid enemy bullets you can't... duck.

It's fun but I also had some problems with the sticky keys. It's an interesting combination of things there, ducks, ak47 and football :D The two player mode was nice. The thing that bothered me is that bullets were really hard to be seen in level 1.

I love the concept of it. Maybe its better if you increase the acceleration of the ducks and i think its impossible to achieve a goal then there is a duck in front of the goal line. For overall experience playing this game its fun!! Good Job Guys

Cool game and great concept. My girlfriend and I had a lot of fun playing (end score 3-5).

Some feedback: The controls felt very sluggish, I personally think normal platformer controls would work, but probably turning up the acceleration would work too.

Also maybe ammunition or just a cooldown timer on the weapon would help against shot spamming.

Great entry overall, keep it up!

A cute Duck Fight haha. I really like the concept of hitting the other players, it puts you on the edge. Maybe you could add more weapons like a Guided Missile that would add variety. The movement is actually the challanging part of the gameplay, and I feel it should remain like it is. A well laid out idea. Keept it up guys and Best of Luck.

I'm not sure if you were able to see it, but we played your game on our stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.

We enjoyed the game, but had a few issues. The controls felt very slippery and Ctrl and Shift are not good keys to select for a browser-based game, since shift will cause sticky keys to scream at you, and when we were using control we were continually getting the dialog to add a bookmark to your page, unless that's your master plan to get people to bookmark your game :)

Overall the gameplay was good, but in level 1, players can just hang out in the goal and block any incoming shot as soon as they are a point up. This seems like less of an issue in levels 2 and 3 because there isn't a long tunnel that goes directly into the goal.

I really enjoyed the game. Very fun and (with sound effects support) funny. Graphic art was cool, too.

Suggestions ...
I found artificial intelligence good shot, but bad "game", I know AI is difficult (at least for me). I would develop this for more polished versions of the game and such.

I missed knowing for sure which side I was scoring (maybe a little feedback on who is scoring helps, although the scoreboard is on the side of the screen that serves as an indication).

The choice of the keys made it a bit difficult to shoot and move (at least for me).
