Gorkball Champions is a fusion of football and brawling. To become a champion of Gorkball you must score more than the opponent while you dodge furious fists! Currently there's no limit of how many goals you want to make. You and your teammate must brawl your way to get the ball, run and support your mate.

*Note that the audio on the video is not created by me, the music is pulled from a default music library you can apply in your youtube video as a "template" since the sound effects didn't come together to the video recording.

Keys: WASD for movement and mouse 1 for punching.

Theme inspiration of game genre fusion are football and first person shooter / beat 'em up.

Tools I used: Unity, Playmaker, Blender, Photoshop, Audacity.

Apologies to users hopeful to play on other platforms than Mac, playmaker logic is conflicting significantly when platform switched.

Very nice looking and entertaining game, I would consider randomizing ball spawn position to add a bit variety to it.

Oh, sadly the music in the video was pulled from a youtube default library since I could not record the sound effects in the video. Yeah multiplayer madness could be a lot of fun haha.

Entertaining and interested blend of genres. I'm impressed, specially by the graphics! Those models look neat, good job!

I really would like to play this game on windows. If you made it available please "sag mir Bescheid :D". But the video is quite informative. The graphics are looking awesome, and I hope that the music is the same as the one in the video. Keep up the good work! :)

Hey kilosaurus and Horbee, for some unknown reason my keys become unresponsive after creating a build for WebGL. For windows my playmaker plugin explodes after switching the platform. I'll try to resolve the WebGL issue if there's a workaround. Ah sorry Horbee there's no way I'm that talented musician, the youtube video uses some slap on- music from youtube library haha.

a fun little game. Art and graphics are awesome and really give a personality to the project. It quickly becomes repetitive, but that isn't to take in consideration since it is a game that has been made in a really short amount of time. Actually, I should rather congratulate you for coming up with such a simple yet effective gameplay, really mixing the two genres you chose really well. Overall, it's a really good entry good job!

Thanks PixelUltimate, yeah after a short time it gets old quickly maybe making arena bigger and some powerups would have been nice in fact. Thanks, I'll check out your game! Oh do you have Web build or one for mac? I'm sadly using Mac heh.

Hi @t8kk, looks super cool, as you use Unity, could you generate a WebGL build and deploy it on a service such ich.io, it would allow more participants to test your game. Don't hesitate if you need help for build configuration :smile:

These graphics look amazing. Really impressive to pull this in just a couple of days! The game looks pretty fun too, I would love to play if it had a Windows or a Web version. Please let me know if you port it!

AMAZING COMPO ENTRY! I was pretty frustrated with my teammate- but I think that is in character for the world you've created. Great job and thanks for the game!
