I like the concept.

I will say, you did a good job on the visuals, and for a first jam it's pretty good, I'd say its better then what I did, but there are certainly some parts you could've improved the moment you die there's no restart for example, for this you could've used

int scene = SceneManager.GetActiveScene().buildIndex;
SceneManager.LoadScene(scene, LoadSceneMode.Single);

With using UnityEngine.Scenemanagement;

I hope this is usefull feedback, good job.

good job on the game - good fundamental mechanic to build on - same as above, need a respawn mechanic

I would recommend adding two or three more levels. There's still plenty of time and they would make the game feel a little meatier.

Fun but a bit short. You should add a few more levels and add a way to restart the game after falling off.

Thank you all. I was able to run the gauntlet and get some of those feedback implement. Added back the kill zone and restart. 2 more challenging levels. I feel a little better I am not wasting peoples time playtesting

I personally loved it! I was sad when it ended, but hey, it was an amazing 3 levels. Level 2 had a small bug, i had to refresh the page. I fell off the map, and it didnt reset. Also, maybe it was the html version but, the game was a little washed out with white. Couldnt see the level well. Anyway, great job. Loved it, seriously! :)

You can fly through gaps, but I'm not sure if it's a bug

Feels great, leaves much to be desired in terms of content and functionality, but that's a good start :smile:

Some feedback points:
- You shouldn't be able to clip through walls.
- View of the player model should be obstructed less by walls.
- Take away control of the player when they touch the goal (so they can't lose after they've won).

@king-kujito Thank you. Great feedback that I can take away.
@paperjack - Yes, unfortunately...not a feature :( The move in code somehow ignored the colliders.

Good job on updating the game. The last level showed the mechanic of the sacrificing a little better, and the resetting also made it feel a lot more polished. Awesome job!

Also @bumdag You can add collider detection with raycating, Im not too good at this, but you could look up some tutorials on that. In fake code it'd look something like this

// Raycast a line in the 4 directions
// If you hit a hitboxes to the south, you cant move south
// Etc

Even with four levels, still a bit short :). Mechanically sound, could add a mechanic where there are things that make you grow again? Or something that prevents you from moving through the same squares multiple times (like that ice-walking game).

Besides that, great job!

Amazing game, love the concept and the game, but it is a bit short, overall, quite good, make sure to add more levels next time.

@caspercaper17 - Your positive suggestions made me add this as a priority and I will look at raycasting. I did a quick fix of putting a separate game object that following the player with like touch detector, but raycasting sounds sooo much smarter.. and cleaner.

@nander - I totally agree but I was limited on time. I could only work on it for about 10-15 hours. But thank you for your feedback and I will next round block out my calendar. To be honest, I only knew LD43 was on when I got the final vote notification...totally miss it!

@game-coder28 - Thank you for your positive feedback mate. Maybe I can make a game after all.

I really liked the main cube/losing size mechanic and there is a lot of room there for interesting puzzles. I was sad when I ran out of levels. Nice work!

I feel the physics should be more deterministic than simulated. I really struggled to get through the floor whole. Other than that, a neat game, I enjoyed it. Thank you for making it :)

I loved the mechanic, especially on the last level, where you had to fit through the small hole. More levels would definitely be cool!

I also especially liked the last level. Feels like there's potential for lots of cool mechanics like that!

I had a lot of fun with this! The concept is great, I wish there were more levels with increasing difficulty!

Concept is good. It runs well. Not a whole lot of content here, but this could be a good base for a lot of interesting puzzles. Nicely done!

Nice little game which reminds me mine on Steam - Theorem. I understand the main gameplay, but respectfully I think that you could improved movements, aesthetic and levels. However as compo you did a great work on this project. Bravo and thank you ++
