Eat pray live by wrexialmt
Story
In the year 1,000,420 BC After the discovery of shampoo, the world fell into darkness; giants began roaming the endless planes of the Earth: scavenging and fighting neighbouring giants for survival. The human race (being insignificant as it is) sought refuge alongside friendlier giants to aid them in their struggle, and grant them safety from other angry giant predators. As a result, kingdoms where built within giants to act as mobile homes, ones which would hopefully withstand the passages of time. However, all giants require energy to survive and carry the burden of the useless human race; for that, they turn to the churches where they can acquire "Jesus Fernando Power".
Controls
- W,A,S,D (Press or hold) to move
- Repeatedly press F on top of churches to charge your giant with Jesus Fernando Power
Added right hand player support with 'new' input modes, were in-game as debug no idea why I didn't expose them immediately. Arrow Keys instead of WASD and Spacebar instead of F.

"Giants run on Jesus"
Congratulations on this one :)
I'm not really good at this type of games (they eat me and Jesus is angry with me all the time) but I can't stop playing it xD
Really good job, guys (I like also the detail that the only name that isn't blurry is the designer's)
Gameplay got a little repetitive after some time, some variation to it would be really nice, but alas I had fun and that's what matters :)
Thanks everybody for the comments!

Thanks for being part of the stream :)
Already 10 out of 5 for the credits.
Another 5 out of 5 for the horse c***.
Keep up the great work!
In particular early game is really challenging, maybe it's okay because you don't have much time invested in the game - but it feels pretty unfair and unpredictable - I can't really tell whether I'll actually manage to make it to the next church or not, even if I'm only a few squares away. One suggestion I have is temporarily freeze your movement when you land on a church, or don't destroy unused churches, Several times I overshot a church, accidentally destroying it (and shortly after falling out of favor)
I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/163826993 - Time 1:16:30
The art style is fantastic!
I cant stress how much I enjoyed it
I enjoyed the game thank you for making it!

This game is very coherent in its art, music, concept, and execution. The overall feeling is of a grotesque farce, and it is appropriate for the gameplay :) While it was a lot of fun, there are still ways I think it could still be improved – online leaderboards, local / online multiplayer / duel. I also thought the challenge was random for the most part – i.e. there is no guarantee a church will spawn anywhere nearby. This seems to go against the tropes of "Big Fish Eat Little Fish". Maybe add an indicator pointing towards the nearest church, but introduce another level of difficulty to balance it out? Anyway, very polished entry. Good job! :)
Just a few small comments to what @aurel300 said; the game isn't random everything (important [ie, not decorations]) is pre-placed as to ensure an even playground. Wish I had more time to do multiplayer stuff, but honestly, I'd rather make a solid singleplayer experience instead of a half ass'd multiplayer one :D The "indicator" suggestion was something we discussed on Monday, but opted not to do else it would make the late game even easier than it already is. Thanks for the suggestions though, it ends up to "I wish we had more time" xD

If there is one thing I would change on this it would be the ability to interact with the menus with WASD and F or spacebar because switching control input is always pretty awkward.
(Sidenote, I love how the guy in the top left blinks in sync with the music)
@diptoman The idea came mostly from an art concept of Alex and the gameplay mostly from Sean. Both have their links in the credit section, just might have to disable popup blocker....
@phlip45 That is a fantastic simple improvement! Will keep it in mind for next gamejams thanks! :D
Only one thing I'd change about controls — it would be better not to force player to switch between input types (keyboard/mouse) so the game flow will be more smooth.
