Orange Island is a puzzle game where you have to carefully plan out your path. With every move you make certain tiles will fall away and you will slowly run out of space to move! (Special Thanks to Ben Tupou https://twitter.com/lompsyfor his amazing work and inspiration!)

How to Play: You need to reach the doors to progress onto the next puzzle. Doors require you collect all the Keys in a puzzle before you can move onto the next one. And you can't use a door if you leave any of your friendly Orange Jellies behind! But you can leave behind any Bad Apples you might find.

Controls: Use the Arrow Keys or WASD to move. If you get stuck, in a puzzle just press ENTER to restart it. Hold TAB and press left or right to cycle through the puzzles. (Backspace to restarts the game.)

I did not get as many puzzles done as I would have liked, but I hope you enjoy what is there. (P.s. the puzzles loop back around to the start once you have completed them all.)

Thank you so much for time, I hope you have fun!

(you can find me at https://twitter.com/tekugare )

I made a last minute edit I fixed a bug where puzzles could still be completed if you fell off the level. I was having a hard time getting onto the Ludum Dare site, so hopefully putting the edit here will be good enough. And at the time I didn't understand how this submission process worked, so I made a post about my game, but I didn't post it "as a game" which is what I'm doing now. Aside from the previously mentioned bug fix I haven't made any changes to the game.

A very cute and fun idea. The game is very composed and has some good puzzle elements I would like further explored. I really would love to see more puzzles here as it was over way too quickly.

Cute and nice :)
The camera is a bit jittery tho, and maybe you should show the controls when the player is out of moves ! Good work ;)

One of the best game i've played so far in the Jam.
Graphic and sound effects are top! really loved the style. the game is fun and enjoyable. With a bit of polishing, i would see it priced on the market.

That's a really solid game! Graphics, audio and gameplay mechanics are so nice
I also really like how you design your levels to introduce new mechanics step by step. Nicely done!

Awesome game! I like the core mechanic, the art is really pleasant and the sounds are fitting. Of course, it's a good use of the theme as well. Great job!

Such a cute little entry!
Loved the puzzle designs, It was very intuitive and smart.
the art is cute as well, I'd probebly try to make litte more contrast to the key item.
The sounds fits the game well, and an ambient music could make it even better!

Really soild, loved it! :)

A cute and fun little puzzle game! All the puzzles were unique, and built off a very strong foundation And to top it all off, it fits the theme too! The game was beautiful, and played very smoothly. Well done!

Oh wow, I think this is one of my favorites that I've played so far. A clever little puzzler that introduces and hints at mechanics as you go, all while looking wonderful and feeling great to play. Really great job!

Great game! Seems like other people had similar ideas (this reminds me specifically of [Rebound](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/rebound), but I like the different puzzle mechanics here more). Kinda similar to my own game too, just better, hehe. One of my favorites for sure!

That was a really quick short game (well at least after i figured out which key does what). There were many similar puzzle games in this LD which were harder and more challenging, but this one has the looks and the sound effects.

It's a bit short now but there is still potential to make it a much larger game.

I really liked this one. Art was great and the sound effects were satisfying. My only complaints: 1. It would have been nice to have some type of acknowledgment that you finished the game; 2. I would have been cool to automatically restart the puzzle if you reached a point where you couldn't move anywhere. See https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/valdi-shadows for a very similar game that includes that concept.
