Ping by mahalis
Ping is a top-down shooter where your enemies continue to beleaguer you even in death. Destroy and evade them to triumph.

Post-Jam Updates
I’m still adding new features! Version 1.1, available on the downloads page below, has the following:
- gamepad controls! move with left stick; aim with right; shoot with right trigger; fire laser with right shoulder or left trigger
- enemies flash when they take damage
- camera shakes when you get hit
- bug fixes
If you’re rating the game, you should download the original version (1.0.1), but if you like it then I highly recommend you play the improved one too.
How to play
Move with WASD and aim with the mouse. Left-click fires regular shots (hold it down to fire continuously); right-click fires a charged laser beam. Quickly destroying multiple enemies in sequence will earn you a combo bonus. Enemies turn gray when they die—they can’t hurt you after that, but they will get in the way.

Hopefully helpful critique:
- The firing scheme is getting in the way a bit, especially because the aiming cursor is so invisible.
I would like to suggest one change: a targeting reticle mouse cursor, so it's easier to see where you're aiming.
