We started off clueless about what to make and missed the whole first day while we tried to come up with an idea. Then with some inspiration from a friend, this idea was born.\n\nI, the programmer, started by making a blocked out level and worked on the mechanics, while the artist began work on the art assets. We both have some experience in blender so art was fairly quick. This allowed us to add a fair bit of detail into some of the models, in particular, the car. Pretty soon I had completed the driving mechanics and had a basic transformation system going for the items. It was then time to incorporate the art assets into the game. This was very exciting as we saw the game really come alive for the first time!\n\nI actually found myself with a bit of spare time, so I decided to create a day-night cycle. I'm very proud of the result as good looking day-night cycles can be tricky in unity. And to top it off, I added some cricket and owl sound FX.\n\nThe hardest part was audio. Neither of us have any experience in game music or making sound effects. In the end we opted to use premade music for a different game of ours and 3rd party audio, in exchange for opting out of the audio voting category. Your goal is to get all of your belongings to your new destination.\n2. Select the items by your car by clicking on them.\n3. Use the transform gizmo to move the items and arrow keys to rotate. In the bottom right-hand corner, there is a GPS that highlights your new house with a small red pin, this is where you need to go.\n6. Use the WASD keys to drive your car to your new house.\n7. We started off clueless about what to make and missed the whole first day while we tried to come up with an idea. Then with some inspiration from a friend, this idea was born.\n\nI, the programmer, started by making a blocked out level and worked on the mechanics, while the artist began work on the art assets. We both have some experience in blender so art was fairly quick. This allowed us to add a fair bit of detail into some of the models, in particular, the car. Pretty soon I had completed the driving mechanics and had a basic transformation system going for the items. It was then time to incorporate the art assets into the game.
