There was no countdown that I could see and I never saw any notification that I had run out of time, so from what I could see the time didn't matter. I'm also not sure why the materials changed from diffuse to emitting surfaces over time.\n\nIt could be that I just didn't read the instructions well enough. But I did enter a zen-like state putting colored, pulsating spheres into the appropriate bin. The soundtrack was also quite peaceful. There was one point where I almost flew off the map from collisions with them all. Despite this, the game is pretty relaxing with the music and sound effects.
