Carter's Crates by Diego Escalante

It's Carter's shift! The crates just keep on coming. Carter's job is to organize the crates and send them down the chute of the matching color. Don't let the crates pile up to the ceiling, or Carter might get in trouble with the boss.
Controls:
- Space: Jump
- Left and Right: Move
- Shift: Pick Up / Drop Crates
- Down + Shift: Pick up a crate underneath Carter
- 'R': Restart the game at any point
Tips:
- Watch out for falling crates.
- Carter can pick up a stack of up to 3 crates.
- Consecutively delivered crates yield bonus points.
Can you get the global top score?

Changelog:
- Fixed a game breaking bug where a box collision can result in the game ending. Commit Here

However it might be too difficult. When there is already a wall, it is too hard to rescue. What about providing an "easy mode" for practice?
- It's refreshing to play a difficult game. A lot of people play it safe by making their games kinda easy.
- The global leader boards were a neat idea
- I really like the gameplay. The chaos of frantically balancing grabbing blue boxes in the red box area and rushing them across the field with knowing when to give up on that and just trying to get as many boxes from a closer proximity provided a real challenge and difficulty curve.
___
Cons:
- Sometimes the controls could be a bit frustrating (e.g. if you're trying to grab a few boxes and have to jump to get them, it felt like you had only a few frames to grab)
- Occasionally I found myself in an awkward game state where I was stuck in a corner surrounded by boxes. I suppose this could be argued as a part of the difficulty but I felt like rushing around to try and get as many boxes in holes was plenty difficult enough

Overall really great game, lots of fun. Thank you for sharing :)
BUT ACTUALLY FUN!
Well done. I'm impressed
The one issue I would say the game has is after a certain point there doesn't seem to be a way to come back if a stack gets too tall. The time it takes to reposition blocks to scale your way over to the stack threatening to end the game is the same time it takes to continue growing.
I still had a lot of fun with this. Good job! My high score was 87.
Placing a box mid jump can be a little finicky sometimes.
I think your options would improve a lot if you could place a box beneath you mid-jump.
Overall great entry!
