Awesome, love the look and sounds of the game. My only gripes would be that holding shift while also moving and jumping is quite awkward for me and it's a bit slow - mainly with when dying it takes a while until you can start again.

Cool concept and really well done for a jam. I think the energy should run out faster as right now it barely moves at all and doesn't feel very tense.

Wow, that is a striking visual style. I enjoy the art style, it looks good. The sound effects were good as well. But I do think that the dimension switching should have been on a toggle. got kinda awkward holding down shift. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, that is impressive! INCREDIBLY fluid graphics, controls, effects, animation, music/sound design, gameplay, even the UI! Loved the pixely filter and the color design as well. The gameplay was like a nice mix between Thumper, Canabalt, and Boson X, with a little more early 90s heavy metal thrown in. Incredibly impressive and very fun.

This is such a cool game! One of the first impressions I had after 30 seconds into my first run was that this could make a sweet movie :P Amazing style, the graphics and audio are both amazing. I felt like I was participating in some kind of game show or something. Super kudos to you guys!

The art style is really great. I like the concept of switching dimensions although I always lost too early that I didn't know what difference it makes till I have seen a gameplay video. The music is great too. Overall, it is stylish and fun to play.

Really appreciating the feedback so far everyone! Based on the last two comments, it seems some weren't clear about what shifting does. I had written an explanation on this page, but I can't blame you for not reading all of it. We're gonna patch in some text on the main menu that repeats it. Shifting is very crucial to completing (and enjoying) the game.

**Update:**
The patch is released with better tutorial text and a bug fix!

Very impressive visual style and music. Switching dimensions is a nice addition to 3d platforming.

Impressive retro style graphics, remember me of the first Doom.

Restarting takes a little too much time.

The running is quite smooth;

WHOA! The visual style for this game is really cool! Nice work on the graphics and filters, the art direction here was for sure, aced! The same I can say about audio, specially the soundtrack! It blends so well with the visuals that it totally gets the player in the mood! Oozing style everywhere here!

The controls are really nice too, as well as the shifting mechanic (+ visual changes when using it), it gives off a nice challenge, while also keeping up with the style the game has!

Great work here! :O

*Radical* graphics and nice music. The pixelating effect for running out of power is *sweet!*

The controls are a tad sluggish. Jumping didn't quite feel right and I ended up taking a dive a few too many times. Switching dimensions also has some lag/delay to it at times.

The overall speed of the character and the rising blood could be higher. There should be a restart button (*R*) for quick retries.

Good work.

Simply awesome, first Unreal 4 Engine I've seen in the Jam and it's just incredible. The controls feel a bit odd, but not frustating (at least not for me) and the sound is superb. Only thing I can complain about is how overpowered the "other dimension" is. It's pixelations reloads too quickly I think, and it takes a bit too much time for it to become blurry enough so you can't see and play comfortably.

Awesome work guys!
