Very nice game, very polished, good variety of traps, slick UI... very impressive in 48h. I did quit at the platform levels because the character not following the platform made me crazy. Great job!

@jhell yeah I was struggling to implement it well within the time so I had to leave it. It made level 8 really hard to get gold even I stuggled to get it myself and I made the game :)

I love the graphics. They're really cute. I think the dead bots should be aligned to a grid though, because I found I died at a single spike where I died before. Also, the platforms didn't move you along, which is an incredibly annoying thing to deal with. Good game overall

Your game is simply perfect :heart: I played all the levels and this is pretty fun! The animations are nice, the music is cool... The ONLY thing I would change is the laser sound effect. Great job! :clap::sparkles:

Really liked this game! It's one of the few I played all the way through! for the longer levels, I would recommend adding checkpoints because it felt punishing to have to replay a level even if you didn't make any mistakes. Nice work!

Nice concept and great implementation! I espectially like that there is nothing not necessary - it is minimalistic in a good way. + Kudo for animation of sitting robot - it's perfect!

Some improvements / fixes you could implement:
* The platforms need to move you around. Some fun levels you did were a little frustating because you had to struggle to stay on the platform.
* The volume for the BGM is a bit too loud. Don't get me wrong, the song is great!
* There was a thing in level 9 where, after completing it with 0 sacrifices (_wow such skills_), I got no awards. Dunno if it's intentional or not, but I did it by jumping from the last platform.


In spite of that, I had a great time playing through levels and trying to get gold-medals.

@salierus thanks for the feedback, i didn't quite have enough time to implement moving with platforms so if I take this game further I would.
I didn't intend for a level to be beaten with no sacrifices but good find! Glad you enjoyed the game.

What a great entry! I really like the idea of gameplay and execution. Maybe it would be even better if it was a bit more difficult, but I understand that it's not a good idea to make a hard game for LD as people wouldn't be able to finish it. I tried to find any flaw, to give a quality feedback, but I really can't think of anything. It's simple, but it's simplicity is what it makes a great game :)

I really love your art style. The robot is super cute and I love all of the different animations that it has. Your sounds are also really well matched to the game. I did find some of the controls a bit hard to use. I think that the air control that the robot has is a little too much; all throughout the game I found myself expecting momentum from my jumps and then falling into the spikes. Along with that I would have liked to be moved along by the moving platforms instead of having to tap the direction to stay on them, especially with the platform where I had to stand on a robots tiny head while it moved. Otherwise, I thought that the level design was great, it did a good job of feeding me new mechanics as I went through the game and each got harder and harder. I never felt like I was sacrificing anything however; the robots that I used to create myself a path through the levels felt like disposable parts rather than something to try and keep alive as long as possible. I thought that this was a really awesome game overall though; it has some great art and theming as well as an interesting set of puzzles. Great job!

ps. It would have been awesome to have a web build. You used Unity, so you can just build for webGL and host it on itch.io along with your downloads

@smilewood thanks for the feedback I'm glad you liked the game. I did want to add the player moving with the platforms but in the time I wanted to get other things polished but if I continue the project I would add this.
I did try to make a web build but when I uploaded it the game didn't work well there was no audio and scenes would not change so I had to fall back on a windows version so I could get it released in time for the compo.
Thanks again for the detailed feedback I'm strongly considering taking the game further.

The game was great! I love the music and the artstyle was just amazing! I forgot quite a few times that you have to move while being on a platform and died :P I would love to play more of it!
