Nice combo of genres, this game really is completely different. It was actually more fun than I expected, not sure how to win though. I probably would have liked more dialog choices to chase after and an optimal dialog path for success but it was still fun to play.

Is it possible to win or advance the dialogue at all?

I think that the good spikes should stay on screen a little longer, because it's often completely impossible to get them.

@Dovakla The game is endless. Your main goal is to get the lowest score you can before you run out of life.

Thank you for your feedback on the good spikes.

your idea is one of the most creative, but the gameplay is really hard. the color spikes don't stay too much time on screen to get them and the gray ones are impossible to avoid sometimes.

The moment to moment pacing is great and the aesthetic and audio work together to set the tone well. I like the amount of challenge in avoiding and hitting specific spikes and how it leaves moments of just the right length for you to read the bit of narrative, choices, and feedback. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to get past the first choice. Nice Job though. Keep up the good work.

I got to -263 and laughed the whole time. Great job.

It would be nice to have the spikes spaced out a little more, so that they didn't overlap (especially with the red and blue spikes). If you're unlucky enough that several grey spikes appear underneath you, you always die immediately.

The dialog is pretty funny, but I did find the hit-boxes on the spikes were rather unforgiving. It would have been nice to have a jumping ability to escape from the bad spikes. I think the feedback to the player letting them know they're losing health would have helped as well. A lot of the game felt like positioning oneself to the proper location, which given how difficult it is to predict where the colored spikes would appear (they appear at the same time as the other spikes), it would have been nice to see those choreographed earlier and with a longer duration.

This is really neat. I liked way you advance the text, but it would be easier to read if it was a larger font. I kept trying to read it while dodging the spikes, which are hard to predict. Overall, great idea!
