The walk cycle, oh man! The coughing in the middle of that "soundtrack"?! Then there is never any water to find so you inevitably die of thirst.
Man, these background objects with the gadient fill tool, hillarious! How the backgrouds just change all of a sudden, without even connecting the moutains in the desert to anything! :-D

I'd say more brainstorming will eventually lead you to a more promising idea. That said, the game is playable and there's a beggining of gameplay, good job for that ! Thanks for the game !
Well, at least the idea's nice and fitting, I suppose. But the rest just needs a lot of work. It could've been a neat little clicker, but it's just too unfinished and has a lot of waiting for procedural generation to spawn you thing to do.

I was on the desert map, and it appears it was going to change to forest, but the bitmap has 0 width and height.
Anyways, really cool game!!
I absolutely love the "music"! Definitly makes the game super funny. I like that you have to clear your throught once :D (Are you whistling the communist internationale once?)
The graphics are funny, too. I like that you switch from desert to forest in an instant.
The gameplay is really fun (and I still don't know why). But I wish the distribution of cacti and apple trees was a bit less random. I died once because I didn't find a single cactus and once because I didn't find a single apple tree.
The game also crashed several times, not sure why. Once at 8.3 kilometers and twice at 10.5 kilometers (browser-independent, I was playing it on Firefox and Chrome).
By the way, thank you for your comment on my video. I did not know the game Mini Train. It's funny the graphics, gameplay and controls are so similar to my game, even though I did not know Mini Train.
