Cool game. Played it for a couple rounds but I rarely could find the brains with such a large map.

Suggestions:
- Add some sort of radar, icon, or indicator for brain locations
- More colors :/

Meh. Good entry, but it has flaws (As all games do)

I think this is a neat top down zombie shooter. It's conveniently packed for browser and the controls are pretty simple (at least for a gamer). I like how far you were able to go with the art considering the time constraints. The camera work is a very nice as well. Good job.

Pretty, smooth, and bug free. The UI was great and everything you did was glitch free. The audio is good, but the levels could be more even. Finding the last brains is pretty frustrating, since their is no indication where they are and no landmarks to go by. :-/

Anyways, my Compo game is over here, if you want to have a look: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/squirrel-puncher-4000

Nice and runs smooth, simple concept, but I like that you managed to put some audio in. I think it would be nice if the melee attack reached slightly farther to be able to hit enemies without them damaging you.

I was 20 pixels away from the last brain when the game froze.. :,( oh well. (too many zombies I guess)
- The game is simple, as are the graphics and audio too.
- Some more color wouldn't hurt.

Simple but well made game.

Some suggestions:
- More color, it's a bit boring to see everything grey.
- Different enemies or weapons to have some more variety.
- Does the radar only show your position on the map? Maybe it could show enemies or brains.

Good work!

Smooth interface, simple concept. Biggest area of improvement is probably the graphics, but they really aren't that bad. You had a really clean UI (liked the health bar!) and had enough depth to be interesting. The game crashed for me after a while, probably because there were too many zombies.

It would be interesting to see this with more variety of weapons, or different enemy types! But obviously not something easy to do in 48 hours.

Overall, great job.

Not bad at all! A bit too simple, though. The map is large, but featureless, and the brains could be anywhere.... Kiting the zombies is easy enough, though. I'm sure you can expand on this game further, but for now, it's a simple time-waster. Good job, though!

Always get enemies around me. Maybe you could find the mechanics more interesting by adding some conficts I guess?

You should feel quite satisfied with a compo entry like this. I love the mood. This game is begging for more to be added and I hope you keep working on it!

Overall very nice game!
Unfortunately it crashes shortly after I find the seventh brain :(

Cool! I also had a crash after the 7th brain, once in sight of the 8th brain, which was frustrating. The music kept going and I could move the mouse, but nothing moved and I couldn't shoot. The mood was nice, helped along by the music and by being greyscale. I did find that going diagonally the whole time meant that I could move faster and escape pretty easily, which made it easier. I basically only had to shoot a few of them, which might have been by design.

Overall, nice job.
