Cherry Creek by SecondDimension
Thanks for checking out our game Cherry Creek. It's a tile-rotating puzzle game, with the aim being to get water from the central fountain to all the trees on the level.
LEFT CLICK TO ROTATE TILE
RIGHT CLICK TO LOCK TILE
'P' FOR PAUSE MENU
It links to theme because there are 6 difficulty levels, each one adding many more tiles, and the more tiles you have the harder it gets to solve! It's not the most inspiring interpretation we know, but I'm recovering from pneumonia and hope you'll forgive me not being top of my game.
Game was made by our 3-person team, with all art and music being created by us over the weekend.

You guys did an awesome job. Great game as always!
Great graphics, nice animation touches and flourishes everywhere. The clouds are gorgeous though slightly annoying when over where you're looking at.
The mechanics are reminiscent of Minesweeper, but obviously not the same, and in that it's like an instant classic. SHIP ITTTT! :D
But dangit it gets really hard :)
Some issues: I can't seem to get out of a game once it starts? That seems to be an oversight. Escape doesn't work, no button to press on screen that I could see. And the "next level" vs "change difficulty" doesn't quite make sense, does next level increase difficulty?
Otherwise, I really enjoyed it! Great job!
The one thing I would suggest is to add a few more sfx to spice up the game a little. Maybe something that plays whenever a new channel of water is connected to a tree or something. Nothing too intrusive though, just similar to the subtle click sounds you have now. The music is very nice, a bit repetitive but that fits the chill nature of the game.
Overall a joy to play, nice work!
Oh, and I took a picture of my third try, when I finally went fast :P

Seems that it's polished and finished, congratulation!
And thanks for the right click, it is really necessary...
You speak about 3 levels per difficulty, so it's not generate? If you can create a puzzle generator, or doing a lot of new levels, you have a perfect simple puzzle game finished.
(ridiculous level: 06:49, 191 tiles moved, 425 click count)
It almost looks like a finished game, congrats!!
The timer and click count are great additions, allowing the player to choose what goal to go for. Great work all.
Really nice mood! I loved this kind of relaxing game. This is certainly the best experience I had among similar games.
The half-houses puzzle me a bit but they're cool in their own way. And I love the passing clouds, it enhanced greatly the look & feel.
I think the algorithm was perfect maze generation and then you put a tree at each dead end? Though I can't figure out the exact generation algorithm, doesn't look like depth first recursive to me. I'd never thought about using it this way, it's an eye-opener.
For improvement I think there should be some kind of graphic effect after the level is completed. It wasn't easy to finish the Ridiculous level and some kind of effect or animation that give the "Perfection" sense would be, well, perfect. For example light or wave flowing from the fountain reaching each tree giving it bursting bloom.
Some modern leaderboard/daily mix would be fun too. A game named Mazy on mobile does it very well, it add more replayability to the game. No one play the game I mentioned anymore but it was really fun when it last. In that game each time you finish the "daily" challenge you could see real-time replay with visualization of how you compare with top competitors.
Does the algorithm that generates the puzzles guarantee that all puzzles are solvable. I'm sort of stuck on this one.

(Maybe I'm just missing something, but I cant see how this could be solved)
Mecânica simples mas interessante, seria um ótimo puzzle mobile. :flag_br:
