Nice entry! a bit buggy (I said go left at one point and next round I was 2 places ahead and to the right) and the up/down thing got a bit repetitive, but the graphics and mood where very cool. You managed to create the feeling of a post apocalyptic world well, I even found myself wondering about their backstories and relationship. That's quite an achievement for a jam game.

So for me it's full marks for theme, high marks for mood/graphics, lower marks for fun and overall because of the monotonous up/down mechanic.

You had an interesting idea here. Nice and simple use of the theme too. I'm just a little disappointed that I couldn't learn something more about the world I'm in nor the people I'm playing.
