I was kind of expecting it from following your posts but still, it sooo satisfying to dunk the mushrooms. It's also get fairly challenging very quickly. Props for the graphics and animations, they are beautiful.

@Listonos thank you very much! As you can see, I actually tried to emphasize the game feel aspect :) I ll make sure to check your game later!

Really good concept, gameplay, and graphics! The aim assist made it feel a lot better than I expected, although it was a little annoying not to be able to attack enemies below me.

I got 26800 points by the way.

Just WOW. Best game so far. The SFX, graphics, polish , everything is perfect. Amazing game

Such a great game! Really cool. That may be one of the winners <3

My one gripe with this was that it wasn't immediately apparent to me that you had to kill the enemies before they reached the middle, I thought you just had to kill them and not get hit by them. That's probably just me being an idiot, though. It certainly doesn't detract from the quality of the game - I've been following this with anticipation all weekend long and the final result is astonishing for just 48 hours' work. Great job!

I've been eager to play this one, and I'm not disappointed! :)
It's very solid entry, kudos! I like the core gameplay loop, it feels so satisfying when we "dunk" the enemies. Overall, the "Game Feel" is excellent too, with a lot of details in animation, music, zoom... Very impressive for a 48h game!

The game is quite challenging though, once you loose your ball, it's very likely that you'll lose one life because an enemy will have time to go through before you get it back.

Also, on my computer, there is no way to restart the game (I have to quit and relaunch it manually after a Game Over). I used the "alternative" download and i'm on W7 64 bits.

Well Done!

5/5 Amazing game.

I found 1 bug, at least it doesn't feel like intended feature. If you dunk in the hole in the middle it doesn't do anything except wasting time, really annoying.

As some of you might notice, sometimes the ball just vanish from the scenario, I uploaded a new version bug fixed where the ball and the enemies should not teleport anymore :)

@mao Thanks for playing! Also, nice score!

@ytaha Thank you very much :)

@bluewingtitan Tks!

@drludos Thank you for the feedback, I will take a look at this bug later.

@Azargaz Thank you very much, I will also look into that.

OMG! This is hilarious! I love the sounds and the music doesn't get annoying. I love the auto-aim because then my poorly-coordinated self can still play and have fun. Really great game!

Holy shit, what an incredibly fun game, I absolutely  that slowmo on dunking, SO SATISFYING! Fantastic game, and it gets hectic really quickly so it doesn't get boring at all. Not to mention the art is :ok_hand: and the music, while its looping, is never really the thing you focus on so it doesn't get annoying either. Wonderful job here. You might wanna consider putting this on android!

Thank you very much, guys!

**[Version bugfix]**
Just to make it clear: it is a bugfix on the ball and characters physics (preventing them from teleporting after bugging in some walls and corners.)

An excellent game! Very polished ! can be added a mode 2 players and a controller support,a charge ball whith more power (if we leave Z pushed!) and that's it! Very nice !

Was hyped to play that game and I'm not disappointed. The game is really fun and that juiciness is really on point :ok_hand: one of the best polish I've seen of the jam. I liked the voice sound effects too.

For some reason it lagged a bit which is a bit weird since I was playing it on my msi. Sometimes the control felt a bit off but maybe it's due to the lag. Would have liked controller support, I think it'd make the controls more responsive. Maybe a tad bit more precision on the mushroom you want to target could be interesting (like with the mouse or the second joystick).

Otherwise I haven't much to say because it feels like a finished game. I you want to add to it I guess it'd have to be additional features like more maps, local coop could be fun too I guess. The game's pretty much shippable in its current state tho.

Great work man, I hope I can get to such a level of polish on a jam game one day !

Damn that was super fun, I'm definitely bookmarking this to play again later. Hitting enemies is incredibly satisfying, and the SFX / VFX provide excellent feedback. My only real issue is that I found the controls to be a bit too floaty; specifically the fall speed being too slow, as there was a number of times I was waiting for him to fall and feeling frustrated I couldn't get to where I wanted to be faster. Other than that excellent entry!

@ROBOWARRIOR1982 Thank you for the suggestions!

@Ashtrail yup, thank you very much!

@Almax you are right. I actually got this exact same feedback when I was first playtesting, the reason behind it was to make the air combos easier. I probably have some alternative ways to fix that and I 'll think of a clever solution. Thank you very much for the feedback :)

I was hyped by your posts during development and I am not disappointed. The game feel is really good. I found myself restarting multiple times. Very good work!

@lukbebalduke When I want to control air time and jump height I usually use two gravity values, one for while the jump button is pressed and the other when it is not. This gives more control to the player, allowing them to exit a jump earlier if they want to, while keeping it predictable from a design perspective. I'll follow you here so please make a blog post if you release a build with any changes, I'd love to try them out! :)

Great job on the game. It was really addicting to play and felt very satisfying. This is also one of the most polished games I have played this LD so very well done.

This was an incredible entry. Definitely one of my favorites so far. The audio and visuals were awesome and the time-slow/ripple effects were super satisfying. I wish you could go through platforms from below, though, because I kept losing my ball up in the rafters... Of course, that may have a variety of unforeseen impacts on gameplay. Anyway, this was a great entry. Nice job!

I just came back to say that, looking back at my "LD41 played games" list, I barely remember most of them but I definitively remember your game, which is a great achievement imo. Cheers!

Wow, it's hard to believe you were able to cram this much polish in just 2 days and the dunks feel just oh-so-satisfying!

![2018-04-30 22_47_19-DUNK EM UP.png](///raw/7f2/3/z/14848.png)

A few gripes/ideas:
* getting dunks on the red/purple guys seems way too easy
* going anywhere but the bottom floor seems pretty much like a no-go after the 'shrooms get going (there could be more exits, but the shrooms would spawn jsut from the top?)
* there's little motivation to throw the ball from afar rather just getting close and personal (maybe longer throws should reward players with more points? That seems thematically fitting)

I was also wondering how much would it benefit and/or hurt the game to make the enemies damage the player on touch (so the player would have to have HP or something along those lines), but could kill them by jumping on them. Then the player could still maintain their multiplier by jumping on the shrooms if they happen to throw the ball away, but would risk getting hurt.
