Slime Party by DeoVolente

[raw]
made by DeoVolente for LD 42 (JAM)

Watch out for those party crashers!

Click and drag to move slimes around. Red ones will destroy floor tiles but blue ones will repair them. The big blue slime will start the game. If more than 50% of the floor is destroyed you lose!

Can't seem to get it to work? What are the controls?

I liked the idea, that you cant "control" the blobs directly, but to throw them around and see what they do. Next time, I you could finish the level after some time - I lost all my blobs but the red ones where gone as well and the new spawned blobs didn´t hit the floor anymore. So it was loop!
But nice idea overall!

Good job! The idea is fun, but there is too little to do. I would like some variety.

Interesting concept! I think there's some potential here for a pretty interesting game. I like the drag and drop controls combined with the constant bouncing of the blobs, it makes the game feel very dynamic. However, the balance of blue blobs to red blocks is askew it seems, and as stated before there is a bit of lack of variety. Still, a unique idea that I would recommend playing.

The basic idea is really cool, though it might be a bit too difficult.
I got out numbered by red slimes very quickly and had no blue ones left to repear the floor.
With a bit more polishing this could be a really nice game!

I wanted to have more control over what was happening in the game. This came off as more of a tech demo than anything. I like the little slime guys! The graphics were cool. I liked the glowing tiles and how you explode everything when the game is over.

The spawn tiles were all destroyed and I was over 50% so no more breaking and my blue balls had already fallen, but very nice concept!
