Suprisingly very enjoyable. Graphics were incredible, and gameplay was challenging too. It actually took me like 4 tries to beat even the first guy, haha. The stamina management is not easy, that's why I liked it.

Super fun actually. Although I was definitely ahead of the girl in the second race and still lost haha.

Amazing. I rarely laugh out loud from a game, but this one made me! Graphics are 10/10.
It's quite hard. I can't even beat the first walker.

overall 4,5/5. I'm impressed!

This was awesome! There is a trick to winning. I won't give it a way here though.

5 stars all around. My wife and I were laughing at the messages / dialogue.

"You feel a sense of shame knowing you're the slowest walker in town"

I even feel like it embodied the low key competition when walking with someone and you can't seem to match speeds, and the path is too narrow. So you need to speed up to pass them and an obstacle. Idk it's weird. And you're trying to talk too. haha

For the moment, the most fun idea for a game this LD. I think you'll get high score for fun and mood. Nice work.

Hey this was pretty good. I thought it represented the theme fairly well. It did get a little repetitive, and the strategy really just became holding space-bar until the bar is almost depleted, wait for it to fill, and then repeat. But the graphics was nice, the music was good, it was smooth and fun play. Good job :)

I really loved this! Nice graphics and cute music. It took me a few goes to win against the first guy haha! Great job!

Loved the sync up with the music at the beginning, and the little profiles for each "walker," as well as their dynamically changing speech. The humor really added some flavor. After a while it did become repetitive, and I do wish there had been more of a walking simulator aspect to really take advantage of the incompatibility of the theme, instead of it feeling like just a racing sim with people who powerwalk.

This is by far my favorite game I've played so far! Not only did you execute the theme flawlessly, you tied it in to a great game that could stand on it's own. Special shout out to that music, it's amazing!

The game was really fun to play, and the humor was top-notch. Granny was really a force to be reckoned with. The music was nice and worked well. If I was to nitpick anything it would be that there are no clouds in the sky, but that is not really important. Overall the game was great with excellent humor.

Super fun -- I would keep playing this over and over again. The music added so much to the humor too! I'm not sure that this really is part walking simulator though, I don't think the walking alone makes it a walking simulator. I appreciated the comments the npcs made though, and if there were a lot more people to race I think I'd be playing this all the time :) super awesome overall and I'm really glad I got to play it!

@judy-kim Thank-you for your kind words! We've been really moved by all the positive feedback we've received. A few people have mentioned to me that they didn't feel it holds up the walking-simulator part of the bargain. I can definitely understand where you are coming from - We did our best to really make it a tongue-in-cheek game that is simply about taking a walk with different individuals, with only you really thinking it is a race (until the last challenger), but perhaps we should have added more of a dialogue between the characters to really flesh out the story.

@toiletsnakes Thank-you for checking it out! I'm really glad that the sense of humor came through so strongly for others, that really makes my day!

This game was really great. It was funny and difficult. I basically had to have perfect stamina management to even beat the first guy.

@swarrly Thanks for checking it out! Amusingly, I find the first guy the most difficult! We tried balancing him out to be a little more beatable, but when we made a small change, he became very beatable, so we left it as is.

Never knew walking could be soo much fun. Rock solid entry. The only thing i can think of is adding a retry button instead of starting from the beginning if you lose. Betty kept killing me :sob:

@mza Definitely a good idea. I might throw that in a patch after the Jam! I realize now that it is a little frustrating to have to start over. Thanks for playing!

The writing was nice, and the game surprisingly difficult at first. I like what you did with the last character especially.

I would normally point out some flaws with the game. And I guess I'm not too keen on the music, or how it resets on each menu. But honestly, the whole thing is pretty polished: well balanced, well written, doesn't overstay its welcome, and doesn't have any real issues that came up during my playthrough. Nice work.

This was really fun to play. Love the idea as well, it's hilarious. At the beginning the game was quite hard but once I realized stamina management is key and that waiting longer is often times the better choice it became a lot of fun
